I’m selling my 1996 Mercedes Benz SL 320 with 118,000 original miles, equivalent to around 5,000 a year which can be consider low compared with an industry average of 15,000 miles/year. The condition of the car is as follows: Exterior: The car is very solid and sharp, all the panels fit well and the paint is in excellent condition and just show normal wear. The car has been garaged. Interior: seats are in perfect condition, they are leather, no rips, just the normal cracks typical on these cars. The dashboard is in perfect condition with no cracks, the cluster of instruments lights up and works as they should. It has an aftermarket radio with iPod capabilities but I have an original Becker radio that comes with the car. All the courtesy lights work as intended. Driving: The car runs very strong, if you are familiar with the Washington, D.C. area, I have been driving this car around the beltway, crossing the Chesapeake Bay bridge, without a problem, it is not shaking while idle and the speed shifting is smooth. The A/C blows cold air and the heat works fine in winter. The car has a clear title and just passed the Maryland emission test. This car is not registered as “historic” and that tells you that the condition of the car is excellent. I’m including the windscreen. This is a great opportunity to buy a nice convertible at an affordable price to fully enjoy spring and summer. The car is sold as is and not warranty is offered or implied.
