1983 380SL MERCEDES This car was built about 8 years ago. The engine has been completely rebuilt and still has the original specs. (no oversize on rods or bearings). The speedometer has been rebuilt and shows 124000 + miles. There is about 6000 miles on the rebuild. The interior has been replaced with seat frames and seats from Summit racing. The back seat is removed and cover over the top (see pic). New carpets and bash are installed. The tires are low profile 19 inch which added a nice look. The front and rear bumpers replaced with aftermarket, and a spoiler has been added. It was repainted with strips added. The top is new. Exhaust system has been replace with two mufflers that have a nice low sound. The care is fun to drive and gets a lot of strange looks. I don't drive it but a couple times a year. It is time for it to move on for someone else to enjoy. I have described this vehicle accurately with no false pretences I will answerer any questions I can. My grandfather owned this 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL since 1985. This car was shipping from Canada to Washington in 1982. The odometer read189222 KM, automatic, leather seats, soft top, hard top, tire are newer, runs and drives excellent. There are only two thing wrong with this car, there is a small scratch on the trunk lib but no noticeable, and two small rock chips in the windshield but have been fixed.
