Black exterior and Mulberry (red) interior. Relisted due to a non-paying winner. Really fun car that I need to get rid of due to space constraints, but then I'll drive it and try to find a way to find space for it. But in it really does have to go. Runs and starts fine otherwise. Battery should stay on a maintainer if it is not driven often. Otherwise in pretty good condition consistent for its age--clear coat is cracked and faded and there are some shallow dents. Power windows/sunroof and mirrors work, A/C blows but is not cold and there is a button to adjust the driver's seat height that does not work. Nardi Torino steering wheel. A little ripping in the leather interior front passenger seat. I am not able to get it to pass smog in California, so only as-is for California buyers (also would require back registration to bring it current). Many states do not have smog requirements or allow cars older than 25 to be exempt, so check before buying. Will deliver in the Los Angeles area otherwise buyer is responsible for transport. Comes with the original manuals and paperwork. Has a CD player and connector for iPhone 4 (plus an adapter to the lightning iPhone 5/6 input). -New alternator (2012)-New fuel pump (2013)-Head Gasket (2010)-Replaced Transmission (2009) I took a video of a cold start (about one week sitting without being on the battery maintainer). Also, I was told it could be registered in California in 2016 without paying back fees since it will be out of the DMV system, otherwise please be aware there will be some back fees to register it (in California only). 87 jag xj6 series 3 needs some work already replaced fuel pump, fuel lines, filters, hoses, cables, modules, vacuum hoses, sensors car was sitting for 3 years when I bought itWe flushed gas, oil, radiator and replaced with new fluids 4 touring Pirelli tires look like new Ac not working, heater works, gauges work on and off I have put over 700.00 in parts and 27 hours of labor. Car runs good but does backfire and die out then starts up right away. Jaguar XJ6-LPresented for your consideration is a 1986 Jaguar XJ6-L The "L" designation indicates an additional 12" wheelbase and 12" additional space in the back seat. This creates a limousine like back seat cabin (no lunch trays). Currently registered in California. Clean title and registration. The car is in good vintage condition. This is a California car that has never left California, minimal rust. It has never been in an accident and has a straight body. It has been repainted the original blue color. The only dent/damage is a dent in the hood where the plastic fan dented when the fan clutch froze and disintegrated. This prompted its replacement with a metal fan and new fan clutch. Additionally most all engine peripherals have been replaced; battery, power steering pump, water pump, radiator, radiator hoses, spark plugs, spark plug wires. All the gauges and instruments work except the oil pressure gauge, the oil pressure sender needs to be replaced. The air condition stopped working last year, I suspect that the compressor needs to be replaced, the system has been set to use R-19 refrigerant rather than Freon. The transmission has been replaced the a GM Turbo 500 eliminating the problematic Borg Warner original unit using a John's Cars kit. The cruise control does not work, as is typical on all these cars. The interior of this car is in good vintage condition, the leather seats are complete however they show some wear, they are somewhat dry but the only physical damage is a section of 12" missing welting on the driver's seat. The burl wood accents on the dash, console and doors were replaced about 6 years ago; the door cap trims are in good condition the dash panel covering the glove compartment shows some minor cracking of the lacquer finish. This car has been regularly maintained by a mechanic, please contact me for his contact number. The car is in a storage lot in Santa Ana, contact me to arrange to visit and for a test drive. Pictures show car with dirt on finish in storage lot. Paint is good vintage, pin stripe is worn off.

Selling my 1993 XJ-6 JAGUAR. I bought this car in 1996 when it had 16,122 miles Now it has over 221,000 miles and still runs well. The engine runs very strong as does the automatic transmission. At around 110,000 miles a head gasket went on the car and it was fixed by a highly skilled factory technician from Jaguar. No problems with that or any engine problem since. The only other mechanical issue I have had to fix since 1996 when I bought the car was a fuel sending unit. That too has never been an issue since it was replace. The car has had a recent extensive service including a major tuneup, oil change, and replacement of leaking oil gaskets. MECHANICALLY the car is solid, and you know that the XJ6 motor is and was one of the best in any car on the road. They are built to last a very long time, this is factual especially in the XJ6 models from 1993 to 1997. These were the best years for this automobile. The car definitely needs TLC. Needs a paint job, needs to have 3 of the four door latches fixed as there is only entry from the rear right of the car at the moment. The interior seats are in decent to good shape, some cracking of the wood trim but not extreme. A NO SMOKING CAR for sure. Headliner in place but needs to be replaced, as does the radio which seems to work when it wants to. Carpets relatively clean, but can use a cleaning. Rear left light lens is cracked and has allowed some moisture to get into the trunk. Trunk carpet needs replacing. Tires in average shape, Newer spare in trunk. Newer battery was installed recently. The car PASSED CA EMISSIONS on it's last try. The car is being sold as is where is and would make a great project car or parts car. Price is set to sell. Any fair offer will be accepted.
