I travelled to an affluent part of town and pulled into an elite neighborhood of mansions. At the last house on a beautiful lane the Jag waited for us. Sitting squarely in the middle of a 2 car garage, the Jag gleamed bright in the spotless abode. We were greeted by perhaps the friendliest individual in the world at that moment, who walked us thru the particulars. The car belonged to his father in law who stopped driving it and handed it down in the age old tradition. The man was very knowledgeable and assured us he had not only driven the 100 miles to home, but was now doing his errands and put putting around in the golf course community. He had been thru all the operating procedures and told us this: in its lifetime, every main working part of the vehicle had been gone thru aside from the drivetrain. Hoses and gaskets had been done recently, the top motor and hydraulics had been replaced, brakes were done, new tires and the list went on. There looks to be 300 pages of receipts and records. All the lights worked, interior and exterior, and the anti lock brake light had been on since the top motor had been re-done. The bottom is spotless and I asked for a flash light to check for leaks. There were none and the garage floor was as dry as a bone. The mans only nit was that the small gaskets that surround the license plate lights had deteriorated and also that two straps holding the top boot down had shrunk. I have had over 400 cars and this is one of the top 3 cleanest ones. After driving it one can only describe the experience as "whooshing". The motor doesn't roar, you just take off in a beautiful slipstream that gets better as you go faster. It is easy to keep on the road and responds very well to any road condition. The top is perfect and every wheel is flawless with no peeling chrome or scraped aluminum. You do not want to get this car dirty in the rain. I doubt it has ever seen inclement weather. We have a very beautiful car here. Upkeep can be a big part of Jaguar ownership and this one had all the preventive maintenance one could imagine, harris.

I recently acquired this XJ12 that a friend had started as a project car couldn't finish. As I have little interest in continuing the project, I am merely looking to sell the car for what I paid for it. The odometer reading may be inaccurate because it's a conversion and I don't know how many miles are on the current engine. So made the price to exactly what I've put into it.8/11/2015 Purchase Price: $2398.338/20/2015 Mechanic Looked at car $25.009/07/2015 New Fuel Pump $20.709/11/2015 New Fuel Filter and Power Steering Fluid $11.429/11/2015 ASKING PRICE: $2500.009/7/15 Today we installed a brand new fuel pump and she runs! She's alive! 9/11/15 Replaced fuel filter topped off power steering. (She steers nicely now. I drove her up and down the drive way hoping to shake some spiders loose.)9/21/15 Called Auto Club and gave them the VIN, they told me the car is Smog EXEMPT in the CA DMV system.I've been told this car has a newly rebuilt transmission and starter, with what looks like a Chevy Edlebrock 350 V8. But I'm not a car guy so I'm not 100% on what makes it an Edlebrock or if it's just Edelbrock accessories. It still needs a lot of work but needs very little to make it a daily drivable car (most of it is interior cosmetic). The body is in amazing condition and has not been in an accident but there are signs of rust. She had the carburetor upgraded to be a hot-rod hood (original hood though) which gives this car tons of personality. With this car, you're going to get a shit ton of parts and odds and ends. Here is a list of the things that will be coming with the car, from what I can piece together from invoices (one of them alone is for over $800 in parts) packing slips and good old fashioned understanding:New (Used but pristine) Rear View MirrorNew (Used but pristine) Rear Door Open Rods and Clips left and Right SideNew (Used but pristine) Left Front Under Dash TrimNew Left Gas TankNew Left Sender UnitNew (and Used) Tank FittingsNew 2 Infinity REF 5002ix SpeakersNew 2 Kicker CS54 SpeakersUsed Alpine CD PlayerNew Seat Belts (All Five)New Shifter Knob (Wood)Turn Indicator Mechanisms (Plastic Bag full of wires and levers)Some Hyper Blue Led Lights (???) (In case you want to turn this classic into a early 2000's techno rave?)Left/Right turn indicator LeverSome on/off switch and wiringSome black thing (particle board?)Another black thing (plastic)Mr. Gasket Easy Flow Air Cleaner (Installed)Some electrical doohickey that looks like it might control the door locksChrome PolishPlastic BitsAir Cleaner Adapter and Riser Kit (Installed)WD-40New RainX Windshield WipersGunk Glass CleanerScott Pro Towels (Unopened)Turtle® Headlight Lens Restorer399 Piece electrical kit with all sorts of cool shit like zip tiesJaguar XJ12 Automotive Repair ManualA grody Black thingA plastic bag of screwsSeatbelt coversRotten Gas Pedal thingassorted pieces of metalChrome Stereo Face thingJack KitThe extras alone are worth over $1,000.This is a fixer car, but has amazing potential especially with all the work already gone into it. It is currently not up to date on its registration but the title is in my possession, and the car has been recently registered NonOperational. It drives but it's not recommended for long distances at this point so having it towed will require a flat bed. Act now if you're interested in inheriting this veritable treasure trove for an insanely low price. $2,500.00 OBO.

Selling my Glorious 94 Xj12 it has 142000 miles on it. The paint is just perfect I get compliments all the time on how "black" and shiny it is. There are some nicks on the sides of the doors nothing to bad. It goes like a jet when you step on it. It Has the Jaguar 6.0 V12 engine. runs amazingly. Installed new speakers and cd/mp3/bluetooth player. Front Seats are in great shape front drivers has normal wear on the left bolster. Back seats feel soft and new. A/C and heater all work. Sunroof works. Drives like a tank and very comfy. This is the last year of the XJ40 style jags, and only the 2nd year of the 6.0 XJ12. Build quality is great on these things. These are the ones to get of that Jaguar era not to many around anymore. I have a video I took of it check it out here. https://youtu.be/eLu2Ljr3LzI

This was purchased as a project a few months ago for a nice group of young scientists to fix up and drive. Then they went to college and left their parents to sell it! It is a nice looking car (kind of adorable) with blue exterior that has been painted well with only a few small dings. It appears the original color was white. It runs and if you are interested, we have a video of the engine running. Those we know who know about cars note that engine and transmission are in good working order. The part that may need work is radiator and fuel pump. Estimate to get it really working well is under $1,000. Power steering, brakes are working, turn signals work, windows not working/headlights not working (and bulbs OK), and radiator has leak. Tires are good. You are not going to be able to drive this car across the country without a bit of fixing first! Comes with an awesome manual and various parts. Sunroof in good condition! Could fix it up? Use for parts? In regards to the photos, we want to be as honest as possible so we took pictures of the worst and frankly some make the finish look great and dusky, but this is not accurate--it is well painted and cute! You see the two worst dings, which are not much of anything. One wheel well has some rust around the rim, pictured. That's the bulk of the rust. I'm sorry the car was dirty. A big cloud was moving in so I wanted to get pics fast. There's a crack along seam in top of hood, with a little rust growing in it, and little bits here and there in some little scratches. There's oxidation of paint on hood and trunk -- I took photos from worst angles. I didn't get the sunroof I realize. It's in great shape. The leather in seats is cracked. Not a good pic of trunk but we din't want to empty it. The engine is nothing but clean and beautiful.VIN UG2R55338This car is not registered.we live in san diegoIf you are interested, please feel free to message with questions or an offer
