1964 Corvette Conv , Goldwood Yellow with black interior and top . Car was originally Black with Fuel Injection . Engine is non original period correct 327 set up like the 365HP option with 461 heads , correct intake and Holley carb . Has MSD electronic dist. , coil and Ign box . Car has been in family since mid to late 70's , car has been keep garaged since that time and always in similar condition. Engine was rebuilt 8-10 years ago at 67,500 mileage , now mileage is 72,800 . M20 Muncie rebuilt soon after and rear end was completely rebuilt with new Richmond 3.90 gears . New top about 2 years ago , New brake system and tires also about 2 years ago. Knock-off wheels are aftermarket Bolt-On replicas . Car has always been well maintained but never restored . About 25 years ago was the last re-paint which it was stripped and painted with Lacquer , also at that time the wiring harness was replaced with a factory GM harness , front end bushings and etc. . Car is mechanically in great condition and drives very well as it should , everything is tight . Interior is in very good driver condition , meaning no real issues , carpet has slight fading , dash pad on right lower side has some minor cracks from age . Seats are in good condition but do show some wear . All chrome is good + driver quality . Rear deck had a luggage rack at one time , those holes are now filled with stainless steel screws , luggage rack was the 1978 style and can be replaced with same . Paint as stated is about 25 years old and the lacquer has many cracks from that time , from 20 feet the paint looks great but up close you can find many cracks in the harden lacquer and some nicks , I've taken some pictures of these areas , not all are shown but some are. I've been around this car most of my life , some things I could over look and some I may view different than others so seeing this car in person is a must and I'll only sell the car to a buyer willing to come see the car in person . Pictures were taken Easter Sunday as it came out of garage , was not washed or cleaned in anyway . What you see is what you get . Frame and Birdcage are solid with no issues . Car has always been cared for and maintained , never been in any worse condition than it is now , never restored . Up for sale is my 1988 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. I purchased it in October (2013). The vehicle had only 5,600 original miles on it and currently has 6,200 miles on it. It’s a true "All Original" survivor. It comes in the eye grabbing Nassau Blue. The same blue that was popular on the 65’ & 66’ Vettes. This is an awesome color and gets a lot of attention. The soft top is white and in perfect original condition with the plastic window in excellent condition, clear with no fogging. The interior is also blue along with the carpet. Everything is original and in excellent condition as you’ll see in the pics. I have the title in hand and ready to sign it over. NOW, back to the Corvette. I have done nothing to this car except detail it inside and out and put new tires on it (the ones that were on the car were the original tires dated Oct 87 of which I still have and will go with the car). All 4 wheels are in mint condition with no curb rash. The Corvette has all the power options (windows, locks, mirrors, driver’s seat & antenna). The car’s cruise control along with all the electronics in the dash work perfectly (No burnt out LEDs). The A/C blows cold. The AM/FM cassette stereo works great and all the speakers work as well. (I had to replace the two front door Delco/Bose amplifiers with factory replacements which is common in these cars) I keep the Corvette in a temperature controlled garage and its obviously never been smoked in. 2 key fobs and original owners manual are included along with 2 factory sealed cassette tapes. I’ve had it in numerous judged car shows in 2014: it won best C4 twice in the Charlotte Spring & Fall Auto Fair. Its won a national first place award in an AACA event plus other numerous 1st place trophies. Trophies will go with the car. If I don’t sell the car, the next destination corvette show for it this summer will be either attempting a NCRS Top Flite or a Bloomington Gold. I was told by a fellow corvette enthusiast who as a 1954 Corvette that has won the Duntov award. He knows his Vettes and he said mine would have no trouble taking a top-flite NCRS award.
