1973 VOLKSWAGEN "THING" Convertible. Original Owner. Rebuilt Engine so mileage is not an issue. Garaged and Never driven in snow. Runs well and was in Parade in 2011. Has Big wheels, stainless steel roll bar, custom front bumper with winch, and new convertible top. VERY GOOD condition, could use minor TLC. Vinyl needs replacing on windows, but I have all the metal window frames. Has a gas heater under the front hood which cost over $1,000. Custom made wood floor boards that were made in Florida. Clean, very solid 1973 VW Thing. Color white. Engine redone, excellent running condition. Custom front seats; with originals. New rubber and carpet. Top- excellent condition. Side windows and frame- top quality. Ready to go. Not many left in this good condition. Windows have carrying cases; doors completely remove.

1974 Volkswagen Thing, completely redone, 4-speed manual transmission and air cooled VW motor. These are quickly becoming highly collectible and this one has been finished in factory colors and is absolutely stunning. Almost everything has been replaced. The convertible top AND side windows are BRAND NEW. The interior is absolutely immaculate and the carpet and vinyl interior has been redone as well.Tires are brand new as well. Mechanically almost everything replaced including brakes lines, axle shafts, ball joints, exhaust, battery fuel lines, fuel pump, electronic ignition, new tires, lenses, lights, convertible top bow, etc. Too much to list. There has been no expense spared and definitely one of the neatest, most desirable German collectibles around. Previously in Arizona and now in Texas. Very clean and straight body w/ no rust or pan issues. Doors and side windows remove completely if need be and the windshield can even fold down. One of a kind and a very rare opportunity to own one of the finest examples in existence. Attention getting like no other and will STOP TRAFFIC DEAD. I cannot drive anywhere without someone wanting a picture or asking how did I find that "THING". This is a unique and VERY RARE piece of automotive history and is ready to go and in need of nothing.
