1996 Volkswagen Passat TDI wagon. 5-Speed, Colorado car, never wrecked. 1Z 1.9L Turbo Diesel Engine with 185K , 230K on the body. Current ODO reads 269K, as original was replaced.Runs great, 37mpg in town, up to 49mpg on the highway, 20+ gallon tank, about 1,000 miles between fill-ups if you're driving on the highway. I have all records, even the window sticker from the dealership. I'm the 4th owner. Paint is 4/10 due to pealing, body is 7/10 due to dents and dings.Small exhaust leak, and there is an oil leak currently, but otherwise everything works except the cigarette lighter and fog lights. This is the cliche part where I say "I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere." But that's totally true. It runs and drives great.Ice cold AC, power windows, locks, and mirriors Moonroof, Alpine Satellite radio. Driver and Passenger Air Bags.New pads and rotors all around last year. Rear seats fold flat, giving it huge cargo room. rear hatch has factory steel panels that make up the floor, with spare tire and tool storage underneath, and are super solid for hauling heavy items. Factory roof rails will support over two hundred pounds of cargo.Less than 1,000 of these '96 & '97 TDI wagons were imported to North America, and they're hard to find in working condition, let alone un-modded, and the wagons sell for well above blue book. I know it might be wacky to put this, however given the rarity and desirability of these wagons, there are shuttles every few hours to Bloomington from IND, as this is home of Indiana University. So if you flew and drove it back, it's like $15 to get from the airport to here. Just saying. :)

This 2008 Volkswagen Passat Wagon is a great everyday driver. This car comes in a Deep Black exterior with a Black Leatherette interior. The car runs and drives good. The car has AM/FM radio, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, ABS, power steering, heated mirrors, keyless entry, and power driver seat to name a few. Up for bid is a Candy White 2008 VW Passat Wagon with 149000 miles mostly highway driven ,powerful 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder engine ,very good on gas ,I get an average of 30 mpg on the highway ,Moon roof ,alloy wheels,AC,Beige leather interior , heated seats,anti theft built in alarm and many other standard features ,please read the manifest . The car is in overall very good condition in and out ,the vehicle is accident free and runs great ,no engine lights,maintenance has been done at my local European mechanic ,regular synthetic oil changes every 5k ,I just spent over $1300 in the past 6 months, brake pads replaced , inner boots , PCV valve replaced , I have receipts to show the work done . Great daily driver at a bargain. Rare 5 speed V6 Bought in 2012 with 49K miles used as family car. Always garage kept. The car_ has never let us down or cause any problems. Only money spent is on tires, service, battery, etc. The car has some nicks and scratches but overall in great running shape and fair/good cosmetically considering it survived boy and girl twins from age 4 thru 8. One minor incident on the front end (see pictures) small dent in hood and alignment of left headlight. On a scale of 1-10 this is 8 mechanically and a 7 cosmetically Here is a list of things that detract from the cars overall score is listed below: (See accompanying pictures) Small dent in the hood, radio antenna not working, left rear door handle off (have the handle), left head light out of alignment, center console ashtray mounting, hole in right side exhaust flex pipe causes eng light to be on, The car will not disappoint as it is a great value. A lot of car for the money. Priced at what I think the car is worth taking into account what it needs, the car is well below market money. Thanks for stopping by to check out this 2004 Volkswagen Passat GLS Wagon. Local Tampa Bay area car since new. Nicely kept car, with some recent minor rehab to make it useable every day.. Ready to drive and enjoy. Please be patient. There are a lot of photos on this listing so you can see as much of the car as I can show. This is a 2005 Volkswagen Passat Wagonin GLS trim. Always a local Tampa Bay area car, and a recent trade at a local Multi-line corporate dealership. A nice car to start with, it has been refurbished to make it a very good example of the marque. Runs well, looks good, and ready for a new home. Evidence points to dealer service at two Bay Area dealers. It was in good running condition when I got it, but could benefit from a little TLC, as most 10 model year cars do. Pretty minor stuff, and further on in the listing we’ll let folks know what we did to bring it up to a better than average standard.. This series of Passats share the drivetrain and engineering features with the Audi A4 and A6, making them a high line chassis covered by a mass market body. As a VW nut, I appreciate the fact that VW parts are way less expensive than Audi stuff, which appear to be made of the exotic material “unobtainium”. Guess they learned from their friends over at Porsche. There are really only two mass market competitors in the mid-size wagon class from the time, the Suburu Legacy, and the Volvo V70. The Passat tends to be more economical on fuel, less costly to service, and just as, if not more reliable than its competition. I have used this wagon as a daily use car since I suffered nerve damage in an accident which required emergency back surgery. There are days when I just could not drive a manual transmission car, and this was my “go to” ride. As a result, I’ve put a lot more than my usual time with a car, and have had it long enough to run through 2 full oil change cycles. Has not burned or dripped oil that I can observe, and have seen none of the telltale signs of sludge or other issues. Has averaged high 20’s on fuel consumption overall, so its been darn economical for a mid-size car. Read on for more descriptive information Exterior. Silver/green. The exterior is in good to very good condition, with minor flaws reflecting its age and miles. A small door ding on the left front door, a small assorted normal wear and tear items shown in the photos, but otherwise very presentable. It appears that the only paintwork has been the rear hatch which color matches the rest of the car. All of the glass is good, without cracks or chips, all trim is in good shape. Both the headlights and tail lights have been replaced with new aftermarket items (tails from the OE manufacturer) as they were hazy and don’t believe in the quicky polishing jobs that look great for about 60 days and then fog up worse. A common issue on Southern cars due to the exposure to UV rays. The Interior. It’s the GLS uplevel trim, which means the seating services are leather. Front multi-adjustable seats, aluminum trim, sunroof, power windows, power locks, etc. Its been refurbished with a re-glue of the door panel inserts, new material on the front seats, a new headliner, and a really good cleaning. The seats were recovered to match the OE color and style.. Was OK before, but it’s a lot nicer now. Also a new shiftboot and knob. Everything else in nice condition. Factory audio system working well. All of the windows work, the sunroof is functional and water tight, the heat works, A/C is cold, all of the controls work, including the cruise control and the center display is bright and clear. Overall, about as nice as you would expect. Drivetrain. This is a 1.8t with a 5speed automatic with Tiptronic manual control. A pleasant driver with nice smooth operation. Starts right up, idles smooth, shifts well, stops decently, runs cool with good oil pressure. NO SMOKE, no funny smells. All of the controls work, tracks straight and pretty much does all of the things that its supposed to do. The ride is firm, but assured. With the wagon body style, outward visibility is excellent, and with the fold down rear seats, cargo capacity is really good. As I mentioned, this has been a daily driver type car for me, and the color combination gives it a conservative look in traffic. It blends in to a crowd and it tends not to attract the attention of our friends in traffic enforcement. I can’t say its invisble, but you’d have to do something pretty stupid to attract attention. More than quick enough to keep out of its own way, corners and stops well enough to keep safe. I do mostly Volvo, Saab, and VW cars, with a soft spot for the 70’s and 80’s models. They are decent to drive, pretty reliable, and have just enough nostalgia (and brakes) to be entertaining and comfortable to drive in traffic. This one started out in nice condition, but we went ahead and went through it top to bottom so it won’t give you grief right after purchase… •The aforementioned headlamps and tail lights. Fronts are a well known CAPA certified aftermarket replacements, the rears are OE supplier to VW aftermarket •A new headliner •Front seat refresh in matching interior color •Oil and Filter change •A driver’s side front axle •Front alignment check It also got a general fussing over to adjust all of the little things that a car always seems to need. Nothing specific comes to mind, but everytime it was taken out, we came back and did something to make it run better. Has been Vag-com scanned and a copy of the final scan before delivery will come with the car for your peace of mind. When it came to us, we did an initial scan and it was clean, without stored codes, kind of unusual for a VW, Saab or Volvo. The result is a car that is a responsive pleasant driving car. It all works as it should, heads down the road as it should, and its ready for its new owner. Its got a spare which looks good. Has all of the tools. We have 3keys, two flip/remote and one traditional. Tires are about 80%, axle matching in the correct factory size and speed rating, and well known brands. Full set of books, full size spare, all of the tools. Wheels have a little rash on them, but are round and true. I’ll be putting a few more miles on it over the next week just to make sure I have not missed anything it needs to be the best it can be so we’ve added a few miles to the listing. Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions that I get on my listings: What’s the worst thing about this car? Kind of wish it had a few less miles, but other than that, nothing known that has not been described or pictured in the listing that I am aware of. What’s the best part of the car? It does everything its supposed to do. Could I drive this car back home Can’t see why not. I’ve driven it in town and on the highway up to 80 mph, and no issues. The reserve, which WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED, is not unreasonable given the condition of this car. It’s a used car, not an investment in automotive art SO IF YOU ARE REASONABLE, I WILL BE TOO . I try very hard to use objective terms in the listings, and where possible, can provide quantitative data on things that can be measured without taking the car apart, so if you have questions on things like tread depth, compression readings, voltages and the like, feel free to ask and if its possible to provide the data I will. However, please keep in mind that terms like Excellent, Mint, Good, etc. are subjective terms that vary from situation to situation, and from individual to individual, so if in doubt please refer to the photos AND feel free to ask detailed questions. To make things really clear, if its not as described, I’ll bust my butt to make it right before it goes out the door, but if you blow a hose while doing 90 mph 6,000 miles down the road and warp the head ‘cause you decide to make it to the next exit 26 miles south and expect me the pick up the tab, please don’t bother to bid…neither one of us will be happy…. While I do my best to offer the best cars that I can, I am not able to predict the future (If I could, I could see a job at the Federal Reserve...), hence the "no warranty" provision of the transaction. I am selling this 2005 VW Passat Wagon Leather Interior with just over 228K Miles which there is still a good bit of life left in a diesel car like this... This car is a diesel car and the engine runs good. The tranny is slipping slightly (I have not done a flush) but other then that the car runs great. If you are a mechanic or inclined that way you will have yourself a great car at a great price!! I will miss the car but it is hard to have a diesel car in my area, besides this car is not the best in the cold winters in northern VT. Also this car is before the real issue with VW so this does get truly around 45 miles to the gallon on the highway. The vehicle comes with an almost new set of tires on alloy rims.

Up for sale is a beautiful 2004 VW Passat wagon edition. This car is in great condition inside and out. The leather interior is in great shape; it has no tears with only minimal wear for a 2004. All windows, locks and the sunroof work as they should. Body is straight and tires are decent. Mechanically the car is in wonderful condition. The 1.8l turbo charged engine runs great and the transmission shifts smooth. One might find a few scratches that you might expect with the miles. The lights and lenses are clear with no cracks. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 15% tread (see pic). It runs and drives 100% and has a clean accident free Autocheck. The 2.0L four cylinder turbo charged diesel engine purrs along without a miss or fluid loss. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation or slipping. No "check engine" or warning lights. The brakes, suspension and steering seem normal without issues. No exhaust leaks. The exterior is a glossy silver. It has a clean accident free Autocheck and no rust. It is not perfect but there are no major dents or dings. One might find a few scratches that you might expect with the miles. The lights and lenses are clear with no cracks. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 15% tread (see pic). No windshield chips or cracks. The exterior condition might be considered average or above average for the miles. The interior is black carpet and VW tex seats. Both seats and carpet are very clean with no wear areas or stains. The front seats are heated. It has a factory Monsoon sound system with CD. Used 2008 VW Passat Wagon with less than 48,000 miles. This car has been our daily driver around town; it is clean and well maintained according to the maintenance schedule. Adult driven, one-owner car, originally purchased new from VW dealer, clean title in hand, clean carfax, low miles. No accidents, non smoker, no pets, always garaged when not in use. Almost new Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. Engine runs great, drives smooth and tracks straight, transmission fine. Body has never been dented or dinged, no bodywork or paintwork ever. Paint is shiny and not sun-damaged. Headlight lenses are clear. Back right bumper has a scratch / scuff from backing up into a mailbox - see picture. Left rear rim has one scrape (see photo). Body has minor hairline scratches here and there that could probably be buffed out. Interior is clean, seats are in good condition without tears or stains. Rear power lift gate and one-touch close work perfectly. Equipped for Sirius FM radio and 6 disc CD/MP3 player. Comes with books and original two keys. This has been a great car for us, no major repairs done, battery was replaced last year. No cracks or major chips in windshield. Recently new windshield wipers. Reluctantly selling simply because we need a larger car. Please see the scans of the original window sticker for the details & features. We have all service records available for review. In addition to the info on the window sticker, the car also has a dealer installed original VW accessory iPod adapter cable in the glove box. Also included are VW Gorilla Gear rubber floor mats and heavy duty trunk liner. Original, carpeted floor mats are clean, as they have always been covered by the rubber mats.
