Up for sale is my dream car, a project that I ended up not having time for. Probably a simple fix, but I don't know. My loss is your gain... 2004 VW Passat TDI 2.0 Diesel. Tiptronic 5-speed automatic transmission, front wheel drive. Loaded with heated leather, CD/Cass, cruise, tilt/telescoping wheel, alloy rims, sunroof/moonroof, keyless/alarm, it has it all. Runs great, starts right up. The previous owner accidentally left the sunroof open during a rainstorm, and the transmission computer (located in passenger floorboard), was ruined by water damage. It might just need a new TCM, might need more. I am selling it as-is. It runs good, and will drive in limp mode, which means it has 3rd and reverse. Cosmetically, it has a few small scuffs in the paint, one missing piece of trim on the lower front bumper, and a couple of dents only in drivers side rear door. Aside from that, there's only one ding in the rest of the car, no dents anywhere else. Inside, it's fairly clean, although it could use a professional detail. The leather isn't perfect, but isn't awful either. You will have to come an pick it up yourself with a trailer, or take your chances and drive it away. Clean title in hand.
