Please see buyer notes below.This listing is for a 1999 Volkswagen Passat with the V6. The car has most of the options available including power windows, locks and sunroof. It also has the 6 CD changer (I guess someone still uses those right?), automatic trans, tilt etc. The car runs and drives very well and is comfortable going down the road. The maintenance is up to date. This is a 1999 and it's not perfect but it's great transportation and fun with the V6. Here's the good stuff and the niggles: Good stuff The usual VW front end issues have all been taken care of. New ball joints and an alignment has been done. The tires are newer Michelins with only a few thousand miles on them. They're about a year old. Recent oil and filter change No worries on the timing belt. Took care of that including the full kit that includes the water pump and thermostat (This is usually about an $800 maintenance job). No leaks Great heat....will need that soon. :-/ Interior has been fully detailed. Clean overall No rust NigglesThe front passenger power lock and window doesn't work (lock works manually)Cruise control inopPaint chip on front left edge of hoodRear seat has a couple of pokes in it, fronts have seat coversCup holder decorative trim loose Holler with any questions you might have. 2000 Volkswagen GLS Passat V6 for sale. Only a little less that 96,000 miles on the car. Front seat-warmers, sunroof, and power windows. Car is in great condition. Only selling because I do not want to drive a manual transmission vehicle, there is nothing wrong with the car.

I AM SELLING A 2000 VW Passat 2.8L V6. The vehicle is in good condition, paint chips on the hood of the vehicle only. This car has a check engine light on and the reason is the catalytic converter. The cost of that repair is in the range of 500.00 to 800.00 since there is 2 of them that needs to be replaced. Also, it has the ABS sensor on as well due to a sensor issue on the driver side brakes. the wire is gone and needs to be replaced. Furthermore, I notice that the oil pressure sensor come on and off from time to time. I am only asking $1,600.00 due to the check engine light and other sensors. Im not a mechanic but it runs great, clean engine, clean interior (leather seats), and it has been oil changed, new brakes. Call me if you have any questions. Joel R 219-670-7416

The passat has wear and some internal missing parts such as the handle bars and handle for the glove compartment. The Passat needs new tires and has had its shocks and struts replaced recently. The car includes a sunroof and has tint on the windows. I am the 4th owner of the car who bought it recently from the previous owner. Shipping will be based on the buyer and will for a first deposit through paypal then the rest through the best way the buyer thinks.
