For sale, a 1997 VW Passat GLX four door Station Wagon, V-6, 112,882 miles with clean title. NOT a diesel. NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED, I want it gone! Was purchased used from a dealer in 2008, no knowledge of prior history other than that it was a trade-in and had a prior front end collision. Frame not affected, just the front exterior, which was repaired, but not very well, in my opinion. Offered AS-IS, in fair to poor condition. Inspection prior to purchase is welcomed and recommended. Please do not purchase with the intention of inspecting after the fact. Towing the vehicle is advised, but if you need to drive it, it will be at your own risk and please be aware that it will need a jump, which we will provide, may need some added water because of the coolant leak and the left front tire is in questionable condition. It actually runs pretty well, but has the following issues that I am aware of: 1) No heat or AC (heater core disabled)2) Coolant Leak3) Windshield Wiper Fluid pump is not working4) Front windows frozen in closed position5) Headlights are missing the cover lenses6) Front left tire is very worn, needs replaced7) Hydraulics on back lift door not working8) Headliner is drooping9) Check Engine light is on10) Needs new battery11) Leather Seats have some dark marks12) Cruise control doesn't work13) Radio not working14) Low Beam Headlights not working15) General wear to exterior, minor dents, dings, scratches DISCLAIMER: There may be other issues that I am unaware of. Car is in good condition. Housed in a garage. Up to date and regular maintenance. Small crack in one rear taillight. Both taillights have stickers on them that could be removed with a razor. Scratches on all four hubcaps, but the tires are in good shape. The radio antenna is missing. Inside the car the leather is worn, but in fine shape (no cracks). The glove box handle is broken off, but still able to open and close it. Car belonged to a smoke free family. I can provide documentation of upkeep since 2011. Car includes all weather floor mats and I can include an additional set of all-weather tires. My parents purchased the car new and sold it to me in 2011. 2002 VW Passat GLX (top of the line) Wagon. 2.8L, V6, Automatic, silver, MARYLAND STATE INSPECTION CERTIFICATE !!! ~122,700 miles (still in active use). Gray leather heated power front seats & heated side power mirrors. Sun roof, Monsoon stereo w/CD & Cassette & steering wheel controls. LOADED with all the bells & whistles, in great shape and very solid - no rattles or squeaks. Front rubber VW floor mats (like WeatherTech but OEM). Full size spare. Everything works perfectly. Drives beautifully and has been very safe and dependable. No rust! My wife had planned to keep this car so just replaced timing belt, water pump and front axle assembly. ($2,500). Then bought a newer one from a neighbor so I need to sell this one. We bought this car from a friend's grandmother and are the second owner.
