I am selling my 2004 Volkswagen Passat GLS 1.8T. It is in good condition for the mileage and still has plenty of mileage left in it's lifetime. I recently bought a new BMW and I am looking to sell this vehicle. It has recently had it's own changed and fluids topped off. The interior is in good condition and the leather seats are in great condition. It has a few minor cosmetic issues on the exterior and general wear that you get on a car of this age but nothing major. Mechanically, the left driver CV boot is torn. The car still functions properly but this will need to be replaced eventually. I have the part needed, all you would have to do is pay for the labor. I talked to a local shop(Auto4n) and I was quoted $196 to replace the CV assembly. I have lowered the price due to this. Overall great, reliable, nice looking car for the price.

2004 VW passat GLS up for sale. This is a 5 speed, 1.8 turbo 4 cyl model. FUN to DRIVE and GREAT on GAS The Good: Great on gas, Interior is great, no stains or rips anywhere. Exterior i would rate a 8/10 for its age. Paint is in good shape, no rust, normal scuffs from being in a parking lot for 11 years. Engine runs strong AC blows ice cold Timing belt/water pump replaced at 100k New front brake pads all season tires in good shape The bad AC belt needs to be tightened, it squeels when the compressor clicks on for 10 sec or so till it grips then runs fine. TRANSMISSION ISSUES: I am not sure if it is clutch or transmission or both. Transmission grinds when you push it into first if moving and sometimes can be difficult to go into gear. Also a whining noise coming from the transmission. If it dosent sell i will get a transmission from a junkyard (less than 200) and put in a new clutch kit. Great deal for someone who dosen't mind doing a little work. Besides the above this has been a great car for me, very reliable. Once the transmission issue is sorted out i wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere.
