I've loved driving this 2004 VW Passat. For one the gas mileage is amazing, between 35-40 MPG. Secondly, it's a super sturdy well-built car. You just feel safe in this car. It's also very roomy, perfect for driving the kids around and last but definitely not least, it's a beautiful car! The car has never been smoked in and has a very clean interior. Mechanically sound with brand new battery, thermostat, alternator, EGR Cooler and Valve and Wiper Blades. Brand new front tires, (purchased last week), back tires have around 50% left in them. Brake fluid has been flushed and fuel lines repaired less than 2 months ago, (I have all repair receipts and records). A pleasure to drive. The exterior is very clean for its age and it looks great. Please expect normal wear on the paint and minor dings on the exterior. The front right bumper is missing a screw that causes it to hang a bit low. Heater does not work but heated seats work great and were all I needed here in CA. AC blows very cold. All dings and "issues" are shown in the pictures. Great Monsoon stereo system and rear tinted windows. Great car, priced to sell and ready to drive!

I am looking to sell my 92 B3 16V, it's been a pretty good car, but I think it's time to upgrade. 164,XXX on the clock, still driving it so it will go up. It runs fine but there is a "flutter", when accelerating, and some rough starts, I think the fuel distributor needs serviced/cleaned, there are no vacuum leaks. Body is in great shape interior is nice and tires are awesome, it also has a newer timing belt, loud exhaust. Anyway I am looking to get something more modern. Car is located just west of Ames Iowa. 1991 VW Passat The body of this car is in great shape. The exterior paint shines and looks good. The tires have about 9000 miles on them so are in like new condition. The inside seats are in great shape – the look new. Only bad thing in the inside is the headliner fell and was taken out so the inside roof looks ugly. The radio does not work in the vehicle. All other power equipment worked when I last drove it. I purchased this car a little over a year and a half ago (paid $2500) and it has been a daily driver until a couple of months ago when it stalled on me. I have not been able to get it started since. I am not a mechanic and don’t really know what is wrong with it. The fuel pump and fuel filter were replaced early last year so don’t think it is that - but it might be. It may be something really simple - I just don’t have the time or money to do anything to it and since it was an extra vehicle, I need to just get rid of it. There are only 75,185 miles on it so it probably has a lot of life left in it. It is really a nice looking car – it just needs someone who is more mechanically knowledgeable to get it going again.The vehicle is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end it early if it sells locally.Note that I require a deposit within 24 hours of the close of this auction. If you don't plan on purchasing the car, do not make an offer on it. I have had 3 people make an offer and then never paid the deposit and couldn't contact them. Amazing turbo diesel. Nice options. Clean inside and out. Built in Germany. Immaculate leather seats. This car has low mileage for a diesel and has been cared for. I have all of the service history. Clean inside and out. The car was previously owned by an uncle who had a minor collision a few months after buying it new. The car has gone over 100,000 miles since then without a problem. Great highway driver. Hugs the road. I put new tires on a week ago. They have zero miles on them. It was garage-stored for six of the last ten years. Minor cosmetic scuffs on door panels that can be buffed out, rear bumper has parallel parking dings from living in NYC, 1/8 inch chip in front windshield. I am selling my 2005 Volkswagen Passat TDI. This car is in great condition and only has about 83,200 miles on it. If you know anything about TDIs, these cars usually last beyond 200,000 miles. I am the original owner and the only driver. Recently this car has two brand new front axles put on and just has an oil change ~500 miles ago. There is a small hole in the rear bumper, otherwise the body is in good condition. This car gets upwards of 41 miles to the gallon. I have also just put in a new cabin air filter and a new dipstick tube. The tires are in great condition. I ran over a deer with this car that was already hit by a previous car therefore no body or chassis damage was sustained. The plastic parts that were affected by this have been replaced by a body shop. This car also has a hard drive for the stereo installed called a phatbox. This is a GL model with alloy wheels. There is a small nickel size dent with no paint damage in the passenger side front. Pick-up within 48 hours of end of listing required. Payment within 24 hours of end of listing required.
