1996 Volkswagen Passat TDI wagon. 5-Speed, Colorado car, never wrecked. 1Z 1.9L Turbo Diesel Engine with 185K , 230K on the body. Current ODO reads 269K, as original was replaced.Runs great, 37mpg in town, up to 49mpg on the highway, 20+ gallon tank, about 1,000 miles between fill-ups if you're driving on the highway. I have all records, even the window sticker from the dealership. I'm the 4th owner. Paint is 4/10 due to pealing, body is 7/10 due to dents and dings.Small exhaust leak, and there is an oil leak currently, but otherwise everything works except the cigarette lighter and fog lights. This is the cliche part where I say "I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere." But that's totally true. It runs and drives great.Ice cold AC, power windows, locks, and mirriors Moonroof, Alpine Satellite radio. Driver and Passenger Air Bags.New pads and rotors all around last year. Rear seats fold flat, giving it huge cargo room. rear hatch has factory steel panels that make up the floor, with spare tire and tool storage underneath, and are super solid for hauling heavy items. Factory roof rails will support over two hundred pounds of cargo.Less than 1,000 of these '96 & '97 TDI wagons were imported to North America, and they're hard to find in working condition, let alone un-modded, and the wagons sell for well above blue book. I know it might be wacky to put this, however given the rarity and desirability of these wagons, there are shuttles every few hours to Bloomington from IND, as this is home of Indiana University. So if you flew and drove it back, it's like $15 to get from the airport to here. Just saying. :)

Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, the Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that mean the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. For sale is 2014 Volkswagen Passat . The vehicle has 23000 miles and it is practically a brand new car. This vehicle is good for people who travel a lot it is nice to have a car that does around 32 mpg on the highway. The car is in perfect working condition and it looks like a brand new car inside and outside. However we bought this vehicle from an insurance company and it was damaged on the front. A picture of the damage you can see along with the other pictures in the listing. We have replaced the hood, fenders, radiator support, headlights and front bumper. We operate a professional body shop that has been in business of restoring salvage vehicle for over of 10 years. We work according to factory specifications and measurements and a few pictures of which would be provided so you can get an idea. We would also give you a month of warranty on engine transmission and frame of the vehicle with the buy now price of $9900. Also if within this one month the car shows any major problems and you decide that this deal was not good for you, you can return the car to us and we would refund all the money that you have paid us. We inspect all our vehicles before we list them for sale and we make sure that all the liquids are changed and that everything is in perfect order. We do same thing that the dealer would do to citify a vehicle. There is no difference between this car and a certified vehicle from Volkswagen. Up for bid is a Candy White 2008 VW Passat Wagon with 149000 miles mostly highway driven ,powerful 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder engine ,very good on gas ,I get an average of 30 mpg on the highway ,Moon roof ,alloy wheels,AC,Beige leather interior , heated seats,anti theft built in alarm and many other standard features ,please read the manifest . The car is in overall very good condition in and out ,the vehicle is accident free and runs great ,no engine lights,maintenance has been done at my local European mechanic ,regular synthetic oil changes every 5k ,I just spent over $1300 in the past 6 months, brake pads replaced , inner boots , PCV valve replaced , I have receipts to show the work done . I bought an all wheel drive car and need to sell this one ,the vehicle is priced aggressive to sell fast ,the car is sold as is ,you are welcome to have the car checked by your own mechanic, good luck

Selling because I got a new car as a gift. Car regularly serviced and cared for, including oil changes, runs great. Highway miles. Ice cold A/C. Non-smoker. Added new timing belt 2015, replaced hoses, and new back tires 2 months ago. Just replaced the fuel pump, part still under warranty. Small dent on front right side of car from a minor fender bender. Perfect first car. Interior a bit worn and carpet worn (only on driver’s side) due to wearing heels. Price is negotiable. Wire transfer, local cashier's check or local money order only.
