This car has been in the family since we bought it new back in 2000. The car has had some recent work put into it. Last summer the timing belt, water pump, tires, and brakes were replaced. The water pump was replaced with an upgraded one with a metal impeller instead of a plastic one. There are no check engine lights on and the car runs great. However, there are a bunch of minor problems with the vehicle. All of these issues will be pointed out if or when you come to check out the car. I do not intend to mislead any customer. Selling my 2001 VW Passat due to growing family! Has new tires, new control arm, new tie rods. Turbo engine, power windows, power steering, A/C, multi-disc CD player and cassette player, power brakes, tilt wheel, spacious trunk Needs new brake pads -rotors and calipers are recommended- (only on front axle) and gasket for exhaust manifold needs to be replaced.
