I am selling my 2001 VW Jetta GLX with a VR6 motor and manual transmission. This is a great car to drive everyday. I commuted to college which was about 100 miles everyday and never had an issue with this car. It has 221K miles on it but runs great. The oil has been changed on this car every 3K miles. There was a new clutch put in about 1500 miles ago as well as new spark plugs and coils. The tires have about 2K on them and has ECS Tuning wheels, and the car sits on solo-werks coils and rides great. There are a few minor issues with the car. One is the check engine light is on because of bad O2 sensors. This is because the car is completely straight piped with 3.5 in and has a cold air intake installed. There is also an ABS light on because of a bad sensor on the drivers side front caliper. This is not an issue the light has been on for as long as I know its just a waste of time to fix it. Finally there is a check engine code showing the coolant temp sensor is bad. I have a new sensor, but lack the time to fix it because of my new job. On the inside it is all leather with working seat warmers. It also has an pioneer touch screen radio with Bluetooth capability. Overall this is a great car for anyone as a daily driver. The low ride and straight pipe also make this car very fun to drive. I am simply selling this because I recently got a new job and bought a new car, and cant keep them both.

Very low mileage: 86K! Sunroof, AutomaticI have a 2001 VW Jetta VR6 for sell because of relocation. I have been using this car for years, but normally for shopping in the weekend. Once per two weeks. The car is in good shape and working great.VR6 6 cylinder engine provide you great driving experience. I will use this car if I stay in NY. It is a nice car. The water pump, belt has been recently changed. Tire in good condition. Air conditioner working great. But you might need some body work for inside since the top ceiling coat is peeling. As far as I know the oil light might show sometimes. I took the car to check and the mechanic told me the oil is not leaking. It has been working for months since I came across this problem and no problem at all. It might because of the sensor. If you are looking for a low cost family car, this is the right one! THIS IS YOUR CAR AND YOU COULD BE OWNER NUMBER 3!!!!!!!! This is my daughter’s old car, she is now the owner of a brand new 2016 GOLF GTI so now it is time for Dad to sell her old car. We purchased this car off of a reputable eBay seller located in Tampa, Florida when it was just 2 years old and I had the privilege of driving it home. It was a fun enjoyable drive and is an amazing car. The car drove great on the way home and now 11 years later, still drives like it did that day. Handles great, has plenty of power, is a joy to drive. Clearly in my opinion one of the best cars that Volkswagen has to offer. And then of course being Dad, I had the opportunity to take care of this car for the past 11 years. It has been well taken care of and never abused. It has had regular oil changes using synthetic oil and OEM German filters. The original White paint is in great condition and is washed by dad on a regular basis. There are a couple of paint chips off of the front bumper cover, a small scuff on the passenger rear bumper cover and just very minor paint chips or scratches. It has lived in a garage the entire time that we have owned it. There is a small rust spot right behind the drivers front wheel, a common issue with MKIV Jetta’s and is purely cosmetic at this point. (See pictures for paint condition/issues). The tires are in good shape and are all matching. The original VW alloy wheels are in great shape as well. In the winter they had been removed and cleaned and waxed and then put back on during the summers. The windows have OEM tint on the fronts and a darker tint on the rears. The interior of the car is loaded with all the features that VW had and everything works as well. There is an included iPhone/iPod interface that was added that connects to the VW CD Changer port that is located in the trunk and includes a Apple lightning cord that is in the front console so you can plug in your iPhone/iPod to play music from it. There is also a Subwoofer enclosure in the trunk that contains 2 JBL 12” subwoofers and a separate amp that powers the subwoofers. There is also a subwoofer level control mounted on the side of the console so you can control the sound level of the subwoofer. The black leather interior is in great shape with no rips or tears and is conditioned regularly to keep it nice and soft and moisturized. Also included are Volkswagen rubber mats to keep all the dirt or winter gunk contained, these are a great addition to any car. The heater works great in the winter. The air conditioner blows cold in the summer and it is all controlled by the climate controls. The heated leather seats are pure joy on a cold winter drive. The rear seats fold down to give you access to more cargo room if needed. Here is a list of all the options you will enjoy! Actually it is an amazing car, in the interest of full discloser so you understand everything you are getting. When I look back over the past 11 years of ownership and try to come up with known issues that are affecting this car here are the ones that I can come up with:VW makes the oil pans on their cars out of aluminum and they are prone to dripping oil from the drain plug. A minor inconvenience. My daughter had been having the oil serviced by STRONG VW Dealer in Salt Lake City when it developed drain plug leak the first time. The Dealer replaced the oil pan. This last time I changed the oil the drain plug developed a small drip. This was remedied by placing Teflon tape on the threads of the drain plug and washer and the drip was completely eliminated. I will include extra drain plugs as I replace them each time and will show you to keep this from leaving an oil drip in your garage. Also included will be extra German Oil filters for when you change the oil.The Starter will occasionally make a whirling noise as you release the key when starting when it is warm. This is a known and common problem on VW V6 engines. Does NOT affect starting and is not causing any damage.The little rust spot behind the drivers front tire. Again only cosmetic at this time and you can see them in the included pictures.Occasionally the Water temperature gage does not read the correct temperature, but as a backup there is the original warning light if the coolant level gets either too hot or the level needs to be serviced. That is it! You will be driving one amazing 2002 VW Jetta VR6 GLX that is loaded and drives like the fine VW European car that is! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have! ASKING PRICE $3500.00 OBO Regarding pricing: I have scoured the internet and local listings and have found plenty of VW Jetta’s that were not as nicely equipped as this one. Plus finding one that as the VR-6(V6 engine) and the GLX trim level is even harder to come by. Our asking price is a fair price based on the car and the condition that it is in. List of new parts over the past few years: Battery, wheel bearings (4), tie rod ends, strut boots, trunk latch, O2 sensor, Mass air meter, window regulators (both front), power steering pump, ignition coil, plug wires, spark plugs, This car is tight and runs well. Normal dings, chips in the paint. right front fender has some denting if you look close and have an eye for it... pics will give you a good idea. Tires were new a couple years ago, treadwear was uneven due to the front end parts that have recently been replaced. The tires will need replacement too here before long.

Hi, today for your consideration I have this 02 Volkswagen GLX 2.8L 24 valve engine. The cars transmission is slipping in between gears, otherwise it's a decent car. The car has leather interior, power seats with drivers side memory, leather interior, sunroof, heated front seats, split folding rear seats etc. The car has minimal damage to the front and rear bumpers as shown in the pictures.It has multiple chips (road rash) in the front hood and some dents in the hood.Tires are good, interior's worn but not bad. Other than the transmission slipping the car runs and drives as it should. It sat this past winter and started right up first try! The oringinal owners manual are also with the car. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to was the car but you should be able to see with the pictures pretty well. The car is located in Far Hills NJ and can be seen by appointment. The car will have to be towed or dollied out. It drives but I don't know how far it will make it. Any questions please call Jim at seven three 2-770-2515.
