No check engine lights on. This is a RARE 5-speed manual transmission (stick shift) which gives you a LOT more MPG than the 4-speed auto for the same vehicle. I've been getting ~ 50mpg on the highway. It is also much more comfortable to drive than a Prius or any other highly efficient cars.
