This is a very common problem with 337's because it uses a lightweight dual mass flywheel.This can be fixed with a $400 conversion kit which includes a new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing. This car was a daily driver until a week ago when I tried to start it. Brought it to the mechanics and told me it needs a new flywheel. I am selling this car because I need a commuter car and this is more of a hot-hatch. I am selling my 6 speed 2002 337 Gti. This is a special adition only 1500 in the US! The car has 132,xxx miles and runs strong. I had a custom 3" catback put in with a magnaflow muffler a couple months ago, the car also has an APR stage 1 tune, Neuspeed rear sway bar,H&R Trak 15mm spacers , K&N cone filter, Recaro seats, coilovers, ESM wheels and i also had the hood and bumper shaved and added a Pioneer touch screen head unit that i bought from bestbuy about 4 months ago, new stage 1 Southbend clutch with lightweight steel flywheel, new axles, valve cover gasket, cam adjuster seals, changed the transmission fluid with Redline mt90 about 3 weeks ago and new glass headlight lenses.The car runs great with no issues but there are a couple cosmetic issues like oxidation on the roof, some clear coat is coming off the wheels and glove box handle is broken.

2002 Volkwagen GTI 337 Limited Edition 6,993K all original Up sale is my "2002 Volkwagen GTI 337 Limited Edition 6,993K all original" This car has been in my collection all this time. It never been abused or raced, just a summer car. I did all of its oil changes with the oil that is suppose to be done 5W40 Mobil 1 with Mobil 1 205 filter. I have changed the air intake to a neuspeed filter and the blowoff valve to a forge metal, but i still have the original parts. This car will not go on a test drive with anyone besides myself. Your more then welcome to schedule an appointment to see it and for me to take you on a test drive. Please understand that this car is super rare to find it on these conditions.
