Hello. I am selling my 2016 Volkswagen Golf R with 5.5K miles, All Wheel Drive, 2.0L turbo and a DSG transmission. I purchased it roughly 6 months ago in Milwaukee, WI with 4500 miles. Before I go any further, ** my Golf R has a "Prior Salvage" MN title resulting from front impact **. I am not aware of exactly what happened but the impact was essentially directly to the middle of the car (right about where the VW emblem is). There was no frame, structural, engine/transmission and/or suspension damage but certain airbags DID deploy (they have been replaced/repaired and the airbag system is 100% fully functional). This was a perfectly running car when I purchased it but it was not drivable because the radiator had been damaged and was low on coolant. I purchased it and had it transported to my home on a flat bed truck. I have been an import mechanic for 20 years, specializing in VW and Audi, and I did the majority of the repair work myself (everything but the painting). First, I removed the damaged front-end parts and put together a comprehensive list of what was needed. ** ALL PARTS used were OEM Volkswagen and, with the exception of the headlights and primary grille, all were brand new. These included: radiator, A/C condenser, radiator support, hood, fenders (which were actually barely damaged), bumper cover, certain airbags and various other miscellaneous parts. The hood, fenders and front bumper cover were all painted, wet sanded and buffed professionally and they look beautiful.Once I finished repairing the car, I had it inspected by the state of MN (where it passed without issues). I then drove it to Further Performance in Mpls for a "Stage 2" ECU flash as well as a DSG tune (for quicker shifting and higher clamping pressure). These tunes were $1300 total. I then installed an APR downpipe ($900) as well as a Vidi multi-function "boost gauge" (measures coolant temp, 0-60, engine timing, air intake temp, boost pressure as well as a host of other things...$380), a billet aluminum dog bone transmission mount ($40), WeatherTech Digital Fit floor mats ($179), a VW Gorilla Mat cargo mat with blocks and cargo netting ($140), a USP Motorsports automatic hatch pop kit ($120), DSG paddle shifter extensions ($50) and an ECS Tuning "Flush Mount" spacer kit for use with stock Cadiz wheels ($200, I believe). The car is in fantastic condition and it runs and drives like brand new. It has not seen winter and it is currently in storage in my heated garage. It was repaired to my very high standards. The car has no check-engine, ABS or airbag lights on and no stored codes. The tires and brakes are still in in virtually new condition. The wheels are in virtually new condition with no curb rash, etc.Features include: Bluetooth connectivity with steering-wheel-mounted controls, ABS, traction control (which can be turned on and off manually), heated leather seats, keyless entry, blue ambient cabin lighting, P/W, P/L, P/M, A/C, C/C, backup camera, rain and humidity sensing windshield wipers. No moonroof, no navigation (I use my cell for nav). One thing I would like to mention. When I replaced the various airbags, I elected NOT to replace the dash itself after replacing the dash airbag. Why? Well...because I didn't want to end up with some annoying rattle somewhere once it was back together that I would never locate (which, trust me, always seems to happen). So...instead, I purchased a custom-fit carpeted dash cover to hide the area where the passenger dash airbag deployed. If you do not like this, you will need to spend approximately $200-$400.00 for a used dash and either replace it yourself OR have someone do it for you.I am 44 years old and am a conservative driver. At the same time, I DO enjoy performance. Part of the United Motorsports tune was an integrated "launch control" feature. I used this feature exactly one time on this car, just to see how well it worked, and I used the installed Vidi gauge to measure 0-60.1mph. In stock form, these cars would post 0-60 times of approximately 4.6 seconds and a 1/4 mile time of 12.5'ish (very quick, to be sure). My car posted an accurate 0-60 time of 3.49 seconds! As for 1/4 mile time, I couldn't tell you because I do NOT race my cars. Apparently, it is a low 11-second car as it sits and I've no trouble believing that.At any rate, it's an AMAZING car and I will be sad to see it go...but...the truth is that I own several cars/motorcycles/etc and I just don't drive it enough to justify keeping it. Who ever purchases it will be grinning ear-to-ear. Buying a car like this should be fun and exciting, not stressful and worrisome. As for pricing...if this car had a clean title and was bone stock, it would have a realistic retail value of $33-34K. The improvements I've made would probably increase that value by approximately $1500. To arrive at my (very fair) price of $24900, I reduced the clean title $33.5K retail price by just over 25% and have added nothing for the nearly $3K in improvements I've made. ** I have no lien to satify/loan to pay off so this should be an easy transaction for us both. ** Please review my extensive positive ebay feedback and know that I can be trusted and that I am honest. I have both purchased and sold vehicles through ebay during my roughly 15 year history with not one single issue. Please contact me if you are both sincerely interested AND fully capable of purchasing such a vehicle. I know many banks and credit unions are happy to finance prior salvage vehicles such as this. Anyway, I can be reached at 76three-sevenfour2-nine03seven (sorry, too many SPAMmers). Thank you, Steve. No trades please...I already have too much stuff!

Up for sale is a 2012 Volkswagen GTI Autobahn (Mk6). The Autobahn model represents the most loaded GTI from the factory, and this one has quite a few things added to make this car even sweeter. It just had the 40k service (spendy) completed on the car, so it is good for another 10k miles of hassle free driving! Here are the basics from the factory:- DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel and Launch Control- 4 door with a back seat made for real people- 2.0L turbo-charged 4 cyl that makes 200hp and gets 33+ mpg on the freeway- Leather interior, heated seats, Aluminum Trim, contrast red stitching, black carpet with black headliner, with amazing leather steering wheel. - VW KESSY Keyless entry and go with push-button start -- the key of the car never leaves your pocket- Power tilt/sliding Moonroof- Factory OEM touchscreen Navigation with voice recognition, Bluetooth handsfree calling/music streaming, USB/iPod/SD card, etc.- Daytime running lights -- LED's in the headlights make this car look great- Dynamic Bi-xenon headlights that turn with you around corners- Dynaudio premium sound system- 40,2xx miles- Carbon Steel Grey paint color with VW OEM 18" "Serron" VW alloy wheelsHere are the extra's added to make this GTI stand above a regular Autobahn model (totaling ~ $2000):- 2 sets of OEM VW 18" alloys -- one "Serron" set with all-season rubber, and one "Charleston" set (very rare wheel) with winter tires ($1000+)- OEM VW backup camera -- flips out of the VW logo on the back, which keeps the lens clean ($300)- Modshack intake -- gives a great induction growl without being loud or obnoxious with K&N air filter ($275)- OEM VW Climatic automated climate control -- fully automatic temp control for occupants ($250)- OEM VW CarGO Management system -- trunk mat with Velcro blocks to secure luggage/items ($100)- Complete LED interior lighting package ($100)- OEM VW "Monster Mats" -- rubber floor mats ($50)- Tinted Side markers ($50)- OEM Xenon-matching 4300k fog light bulbs ($20)The car drives great, and needs nothing. It's never been raced, never been to the track, and aside from the occasional on-ramp blasts it rarely ever has been driven quickly. The interior was detailed extensively every 5k miles, and all VW recommended maintenance items have been completed. Leather has always been conditioned, and the carpets have always been shampooed. It has a few interior and exterior dings/scratches, but overall it's in okay shape. There are rock chips on the hood that could use a clear coat touch up, and some curb rash on some of the wheels. The car is wired for a sub too.The car was purchased at 5k miles from an auction in West Virginia. Repairs were "bolt-on", meaning OEM VW parts were bought and installed them without the need for paint/body work or frame straightening (NO bodywork was needed, that was done before I bought it by a shop). 4 wheel alignment came back great. It does come with a prior salvage title, which means it has been fully repaired, inspected by the State of Minnesota, and passed as roadworthy. 35k miles have been put on since the accident with no troubles! All repairs made to the car at 5k miles are documented -- if you have any questions just ask!Maintenance has been meticulous on this car; here is the service history of the vehicle:5,330 miles: Rebuilt and back on the road!9,250 miles: (10k Maintenance) Oil change with Mobil1 to 0w40 full synthetic, Tires rotated, Full Interior detail, Wheels polished16,620 miles: Replaced B1S1 O2 sensor, Replaced all 4 coil packs with Audi R8 "Red Top" coil packs, Replaced Cyl. 4 fuel injector with Bosch OEM part, Performed full intake valve carbon cleaning, Replaced injector seals, Oil changed with Mobil1 0w40 full syn.20,007 miles: (20k Maintenance) Oil changed with Mobil1 0w40 full syn, Tires rotated, Full interior and exterior detail29,503 miles: (30k Maintenance) Oil changed with Mobil1 0w40 full syn, Tires rotated, Full interior detail39,832 miles: (40k Maintenance) DSG transmission serviced (replaced trans filter, dsg fluid, filter cap o-ring, drain bolt washer), Replaced fuel filter, Washed/cleaned/oiled K&N air filter, Oil changed with Mobil1 0w40 Full Syn, Cabin Air filter replaced, AC evaporator system cleaned, Tires rotated, Full interior detail Paypal/Cash/Certified fund transfer only (no payment plans).
