There is literally BLOOD, SWEAT, and TEARS in this thing, as any serious Subaru guy will tell you. It is my baby, and although I've decided to part with it, low-ball offers, and tire-kicking punters will receive a late Christmas present of my middle finger. So, please don't disrespect. I am HAPPY to make someone a good deal on it, in the hopes they will continue the project. I am HAPPY to spend hours on the phone with someone who has actual interest in the car. I am HAPPY to help someone trouble-shoot problems with similar products in THEIR car. I am NOT happy to try and explain to my wife how I bench-raced all night with a guy with FIVE bucks in his pocket. OK, so...bottom line... I want $14,000 for the car, as it rolls. This means you get EVERYTHING that's in the list above, and a bunch of other crap in my garage. You get the one-off Eibach coil-overs and GC plates. You get ALL of the existing stereo equipment currently in the car, the Cobb AP3, as well as ANY saved ECU tuning or Stereo tuning files I still have. You get the spare STi front seat. You get the spare set of Auto-X wheels and tires AND the Legacy wheels, and any OTHER wheels I have around here (OE 16s, and another set of forged Centerlines) Car is currently catless, as we don't have inspections here. Also, it is currently set up to dump PCV to DP. I have had NO problems with registration. EVER. Has always passed OBD inspection before I moved here. However, I will ALSO throw in a COBB catted DP, just in case you need it. You will have to have it modded for 3" at the cat-back end, but it is only 10K old, so the cat should be perfect. If you DON'T want to pay the asking, then I am happy to pull the indicated items. The asking price would then be $10,000obo. For this, I would replace the: 1. Eibachs with either a set of Megan Street C/Os or Fortune500 C/O with Swifts. The Fortunes will add to the price, as well as if you decide you want the GC plates. We can discuss that. 2. Cobb sway bars with OE bars (sedan rear). 3. PPI amps/DEQ, ALL Xtants/enclosure/pillars, and Pioneer deck with older gear, no sub box, and OE pillars that you will need to install. You WILL get SOME stereo gear I have lying around including an X604 Xtant amp, the existing CDT mids, the existing OZ mids, and some Focal tweeters. You will need a head unit. 4. PIAA 80XTs with...nothing. 5. STi grill with EBay Zero grill 6. Odyssey battery with Autozone battery 7. DC Power alternator with STi OE 90a alternator 8. You only get ONE set of wheels, although I will let you pick which ones. I also currently have the Eibachs, Cobb bars, Fortune500s, and GC plates for sale in another thread, so you MAY get stuck with a different solution. I would obviously lower the price to reflect this. Make Us An Offer... *Please read this report below from the Subaru mechanic: The Good: Body is in near perfect shape with no dents and no scratches. Inside is also in excellent shape (well taken care of), seats are all super great, no rips or problems. Dash and all else checks off as very, very clean and good to go. The Bad: Air conditioner belt missing, tires only have 50% left of tread, shocks could use replacement. Exhaust and undercarriage have some rust (car is from New Hampshire). The Ugly: WRX needs shortblock replacment, bearing material in oil. Mechanic also stated that he has "concerns about condition and replacement of other items such as turbocharger, clutch, radiator and hoses, timing belt kit, cylinder heads/ valve work as well as breather and fuel hoses". However he only inspected it so these are not for certain needed fixes. Firewall/ bulkhead compromised where clutch pedal mounts and so it may also need repair he says. Story: We bought it at auction as "minor dents & scratches" vehicle and had it shipped to us in New Mexico. When it arrived we quickly found out that the engine is bad. It ran for about an hour before it conked out on us and our hearts dropped! We had it towed to a local 5 star and perfect review Subaru repair shop where they inspected and tested the car and gave us the bad news. I had bought this car for my 19 year old nephew and we are unwilling to invest in it further so have decided to cut our losses! As you can see we are being as honest as we can with this as we don't want to screw someone else over as we have been. This is the full report. The reason I bought it is it had a very clean CarFax history and seemed to be a great car. It has a clean title and has not been in any accidents (CarFax does guarantee that). This car is perfect for someone who is a mechanic or has connections or is simply willing to invest some cash to get it right. We have $8,000 invested in the car and are trying to recoup what we can. It has been a fun 2.75 years of ownership but the time has come to move onto the next car. Background: I bought the car pretty much stock back around 95K miles. My intent was always to use this car as a daily driver and thus had to retain its reliability and drivability. At the same time, It needed to have a little edge, something to set it a part and make it unique and fun which is where I have ended up. During my ownership the car has only ever had two "down times" one was when I had to get the timing belt replaced and the other was for the VF-39/injector upgrade. Everything else works like a charm, no CEL's, no mechanical issues, nothing. Currently the car has aprox. 158,000 on the clock. With that being said, compression has been tested once each year and also once when doing the timing belt swap. Every time it was done, the car was lukewarm at best and consistently had number from 132-140 on all 4 cylinders. In the pictures below you will also see the dip stick with the current oil level. This was taken the day this ad was made to help reiterate the health of the motor. As you can see it burns virtually no oil. Overall interior condition: 9/10Overall Exterior condition: 7/10 The one downside to this car being a true everyday car, is that the exterior is not perfect. it does have rock chips up front and very minor blemishes. Nothing extreme or out of the ordinary, but also not "show room quality". I'm not going to beat around the bush on this nor will I try to downplay it. I feel strongly that if anyone were to truly use their subie like I do, you would see similar conditions. With that being said, I pride myself on the condition of the interior. I enjoy keeping a very clean and maintained cabin. I spend a lot of time in my car and I prefer not to haul myself around in a pig sty. I purchased this car with roughly 65k miles on it. The original owner had extensive engine work done at Metric Subaru, Long Island New York. I've driven mostly highway miles (commute from east of Cleveland to Lansing MI 2x per week). Car would make a great parts car for someone who already owns a WRX, or for someone who could do the engine work. I've seriously considered replacing the engine and keeping the car, because when it runs right, it outperforms cars worth 100X its value. the good: many aftermarket upgrades, including high performance shocks/struts (manually adjust tension and ride height), STi turbo, hyperflow intercooler, ecutek stage III tune the bad: 215k miles minor body damage "check engine" light is on, one cylinder is not holding compression Car still drives well,but rough idle, and sluggish acceleration if you push the gas pedal down much more than half way.
