I am selling my beautiful 2008 STI. The original owner was my dad’s best friend…and he treated it like a classic car. He never drove it in snow, avoided rain, stored in heated garage, maintained it well (all receipts in hand) and NEVER auto-x, raced or tracked this car. This STI has only 33880 original miles on it and has all of the standard STI features including navigation, sti floor mats, rear sti rubber trunk liner. The exterior and interior are in fantastic condition. No major dings dents or scratches. I wax it on a regular basis. Oil changes done every 3000 miles and I use Motul Synthetic. The brakes are new Carbotechs low dust, the tires have only 3000 miles on them, and the wheels are the silver stock BBS wheels that are near perfect. There are a few modifications done to the car…all mods were done by a professional Subaru Tuner/shop: Pure Tuning in Toledo, Ohio. I purchased this car with roughly 65k miles on it. The original owner had extensive engine work done at Metric Subaru, Long Island New York. I've driven mostly highway miles (commute from east of Cleveland to Lansing MI 2x per week). Car would make a great parts car for someone who already owns a WRX, or for someone who could do the engine work. I've seriously considered replacing the engine and keeping the car, because when it runs right, it outperforms cars worth 100X its value. the good: many aftermarket upgrades, including high performance shocks/struts (manually adjust tension and ride height), STi turbo, hyperflow intercooler, ecutek stage III tune the bad: 215k miles minor body damage "check engine" light is on, one cylinder is not holding compression Car still drives well,but rough idle, and sluggish acceleration if you push the gas pedal down much more than half way.
