This particular 2004 Subaru WRX STI started out life in the hands of pure Subaru lover and enthusiast. When the WRX reached our shores in 2002 he immediately went out and purchased one, and needless to say in 2004 when the STI got here he went over and traded his 2002 in on this very car. This car was his baby, always garaged and cared for, only taken out on nice days, which are few and far between in northern Washington State. It was his weekend fun car, so it has had an easy life, mostly relaxing in the garage. It really is a time capsule. I had a 1959 Mini Cooper up for sale, and was contacted about a trade by the original owner of this STI. I was hesitant at first because I wasn't really looking for a Subaru, but once I heard about and saw the car I had to do it, his car was too nice to pass up. I took ownership in July of 2015, the car had around 15,000 miles on it. I have put about 2,500 miles on the car over the past 6 months, and have enjoyed it, but I am ready to move on to something more my style. Now down to the car. It is in well above average condition, the interior is excellent condition. The car runs and drives flawlessly, shifts like butter and accelerates like a rocket. The A/C blows ice cold and everything works. The exterior is in very nice condition with the normal wear and tear associated with a car of this age, a few minor rock chips and blemishes up front from highway driving and if you really wanted to get your eyeball within a couple feet of the car I'm sure you could find something, but absolutely no dings, dents, major scratches, ETC. of any kind. The car is LOJACK equipped. The car still sports the original Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires from 2004, with about 6/32nds of tread left on all four. Original balance weights on the wheels and tires as well. No curb rash or major issues that I can see with the wheels, nice condition with normal wear. Clean and clear Carfax and auto check with no accidents. The car has a few minor modifications: aftermarket Exhaust, K&N drop in filter, Cart boy Short shifter, and an aftermarket CD player. Excellent condition 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. This has been my baby for six years but it's time to move on. Single adult owner, non-smoker, garage kept, lightly modded (see below), and title in hand for an easy buying experience. Mods include some suspension bushings, swaybars, a catback exhaust, a carbon fiber hood, and a few engine safety items. The catback exhaust was professionally tuned for on Cobb's dyno in Plano, TX. Dyno sheet and a link Cobb posted of it being tuned available on request. The Cobb Accessport is included in the sale. This STI is ready to go to the track, but it makes a great DD. Inquire for details if you want a more comprehensive list. Payment will be a cashier's check or a bank draft, or a financing check from a nationally recognized bank. Wire transfers will be considered as well. All methods of payment will be verified with the issuing institution. The entire process is easier if we make the transfer at the bank itself. Here is the deal. I purchased another vehicle and figured that this would be my project car, but I have found that I am rarely driving it. So the wife told me before I could have any more toys, I needed to sell the Subaru. First owner, never smoked in, never tracked, or auto crossed, or burned out, or raced of any kind. Up for sale is a good looking, running, & driving 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Turbo 5 speed manual transmission with 144,250 miles. This has been my personal daily driver for the last ten years. I am selling this car as I wanted something bigger for my family. This car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and I think it will for you too! It will put enjoyment into any ride all the while getting 22 mpg. Yes, it’s a sleek, sporty, and fast car but parents will be happy with all the safety features including airbags and the all-wheel drive. No, its NEVER been to the track or raced. It’s been garage kept for the majority of its life. Several modifications have been made to the vehicle to correct the few flaws WRXs have. The original/stock WRX brakes were very spongy. With the drilled/slotted rotors, performance pads, and stainless steel brake lines the pedal feel is now firm and braking happens quicker – it’s safer this way. The original suspension was okay but the components were wearing and I figured I might as well make it better than stock when it was time for replacement. The adjustable coil overs give you changeable controls with a few clicks of the finger and the racing springs match nicely. The ride is now firm and provides excellent communication from the rest of the suspension. This is how it should have been done from the factory. The original Subaru speakers look like a paper bag and didn't sound much better. Now any kind of music sounds like you are right there. Even the radio when the free HD reception comes in feels more like a concert! I feel the system is perfectly balanced – not all bass but enough to feel your music and highs/mids to match! I couldn't find the receipt but the cost for just the stereo system alone was almost $5,000. While I was doing the audio I figured I might as well protect it. The CrimeStopper alarm system does just that and adds the remote start functionality. You can start the car from more than ¼ mile away, lock the doors, etc. I logged every single gas fill up (date, location, type of gas, gallons, and mileage) and all maintenance details in a logbook which will go with the vehicle. “If it’s worth owning its worth taking care of and I feel I’ve done just that.” You can see the first few pages of the logbook as well as some of the most recent maintenance in the photos above or video below.
