Runs great, doesn't burn oil, and motor has not seen over 9psi since day one of being built. It is tuned by Subaru Jesus himself Matt Miner on a conservative tune for break in and to not over work the stock transmission. Turbo is good for 30+ psi so needless to say it isn't even close to being pushed. Motor has just over 9,000miles on it and has had the oil changed every 3k with Rotella T6. Also I have changed the trans and diff fluid yearly with full synthetic. All you need to do is swap a 6speed into this, turn up the boost, and enjoy a BEAST of a car. It was my daily driver so the car does have some dings and dents like any other daily. Also the right rear coilover is starting to leak so a new suspension or coil rebuild would be a good idea. One other thing that needs some attention, but doesn't affect driving at all is the power steering is starting to leak. This is a very common issue with subarus and the fluid hardly goes down so it is no big leak. Lastly it is sold as is knowing it is a highly modified vehicle. Also I am including everything I have for this build with the purchase of the car. I will include ported and polished 2.0 heads with full stock valvetrain. Bosch 044 fuel pump and 1650cc injectors for the next step in power making are also coming with it. I have 800hp rated Driveshaft Shop R180 conversion rear axles which alone go for big bucks and will allow you to run a R180 (6spd) rear diff without needing to swap out the hubs. Numerous other parts also such as Perrin blow thru maf tube, greddy turbo timer, Bee R Rev limiter, 4pot 06-07 WRX calipers, Wilwood 4pot rear big brake kit, custom thinned out engine harness, 2 other bumpers, Turbo XS stealth back exhaust with magnaflow muffler, and many other things that aren't coming to mind. Hello, The time has come and I am selling my 2012 Subaru WRX. I am a 24 year old Mechanical Engineer and I purchased the car when I graduated school. I am only selling my baby because I made the move to a STI. The car has been very well maintained and has fresh brake fluid, transmission fluid, motor oil, and freshly greased bushings. I typically wax the car 2 or 3 times a year (before summer and winter at least) and I am a non-smoker so the interior is clean and smell free. I daily drive the car year round about 50 miles to/from work, 47 of which are all highway. I am sure you know, but the WRX is amazing in the snow. I owned a F350 before the WRX and the WRX is without a doubt better in the snow. In addition, I have a full set of snow tires and wheels that are included in the sale. The snow tire set is roughly 2 years old and has more than lots of life left in it. When snow arrives, simply bolt them on and go… no headaches. For summer tires I purchased Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tires last year and 18 inch aftermarket wheels. These are awesome tires; they grip well and are quiet on the highway. The car has some minor modifications that include the wheels/tires, fog lights, STI spoiler, rain guards, window tint, drop in AEM air filter, and a custom made exhaust. I originally had an aftermarket exhaust on the car, but given my profession and highway commute I desired a quite car. I ordered an exhaust dump and welded it into the stock exhaust. What this means is you have two choices when driving the car, leave the dump closed and the car will be nice and quiet (stock sound), or simply flip a switch in the center console and the dump will open. When the dump is open you get the added power and noise of an aftermarket exhaust. Great for those early morning rides to work (or late night rides home from the bar!). I truly enjoyed owing this Subaru and hope the next owner does also, feel free to ask any questions I’ll do my best to answer them. This is a 2002 Subaru WRX Impreza sedan in a 1 out of 400 color Blaze Yellow. It is an automatic that just hit 170,000 miles today. I hate to part with such a fun car but I need a pick up to pull a trailer. This is a beautiful car, my daily driver and very fun to drive. It has no issues passing inspection here in MA and has a current sticker. It has never been raced but has an Acessport tune, Cobb exhaust and Perrin air intake which really helps with gas milage and performance. This car has had a lot of professional repairs done to it to ensure it will live to its full potential lifespan (Subarus easily clear 250,000 miles). Title is clean and clear, car is currently registered, inspected, insured and driven. You can pick up this car and drive it across the country home!55 The timing belt has been DONE! When looking at Subaru's, most are for sale cheap because they need that expensive repair done. Drive knowing the timing belt is good for another 80,000 miles. Additional work that has been done (almost all at a Subaru dealership with over $15,000 of receipts that come with the car, too much to list) Rebuilt transmission (done at 120,000 miles)Rebuilt front and rear suspension (due to recall, done by dealership)Valve GasketsAll rubber hosesNew Blizzak tires installed NovemberShocks/StrutsStainless Steel Skid Plate (instead of heat shields that rust and make noise on all Subaru's) Oil has been changed every 3000 miles with Royal Purple full synthetic, because of the turbo it is best to use synthetic and change often. Try to find a WRX that has not been messed with. Downsides are, rust around wheel wells, like most Subaru's in the northeast, that is the reason for the low price. There is some touch up paint on it, car could use some love in the paint/bondo department, but what you get is a mechanically solid car. There are 2 dents, one the size of a golf ball in the hood and one on the rear passenger side door. The dent on the door can be pulled out and hood replacements are an easy find. There is a rip in the seam of the drivers side seat that can be stitched up. The switches for the passenger side windows do not work, but can be rolled down on the drivers side ($20 fix each, the motor is fine). The blower motor for the heat/ac needs to be fixed, but I hope to have that sorted out before selling the car ($45 fix). Payment via Paypal, Check or Cash.
