Selling this vehicle for a car dealer friend of mine. Very nice 1962 Pontiac Tempest convertible. Has a 195 cubic inch 4 cylinder gas engine with automatic transmission controlled by a small lever on the dash. 609 miles showing on the odometer. Red on red. Vehicle has been kept as original and it is in impressively nice cosmetic and mechanical condition. Appears to have been repainted some time ago with some evidence of body work along the bottom. Paint is very nice and clean with just a few very minor blemishes. No significant dents or scratches. Nice clean chrome trim. Convertible top is very nice with no rips or tears on the exterior. There are some visible wear spots on the inside but no where near worth replacing it yet. Rubber moldings around the windows are dried and deteriorated as you can see in some of the close up photos. Rubber molding on the passenger side rear window is partially detached. Good clean glass panels and they all go up and down just fine. Excellent tires. New muffler. Chassis and engine compartment are very clean and free of any rust. Interior is very nice and clean. There is a sizable tare on the drivers side of the bench seat but the passenger side and rear seat are without any damage. Good clean carpets. With good working heater. Vehicle is EXCELLENT running. 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible bought this car one week ago in Missouri. Unseen. Car had more rust than stated. Would make good car to restore or donor car to make hard top into convertible. Will work on 66 and 67 Cutlass, Chevelle, Skylark and Pontiac. All hard to find convertible parts are there with rear seat and side panels. All electric and hydraulic parts are there. Convertible frame is in good shape other than header having some rust. Available on ebay for 300.car has had new floor boards installed and are usable. Has had complete trunk pan installed. It needs to be reworked. All frame and suspension is nice and not rusted. Has 5 rally II wheels 14x7. Has GTO hood. not rusty but has one bent spot. Could be fixed. Rolls and steers. Has new gas tank. No motor and transmission. Came with 326 automatic. Has power steering. I have 4400 invested. The car will be sold.

Up for sale is my 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible. It is Montero Red and has roughly 91,000 miles. Drives great and sounds great. Top is in great shape and is electronic and works well. Has a 326 motor and I have done small improvements to make it reliable and run solid. I drive it about once every week or two and it is smooth.
