1963 Pontiac Catalina 2 door hardtop. This 63 Catalina has 389 with a tri-power, the engine is clean and runs good. It is connected to a automatic transmission. The car has factory air conditioning, it currently is not working. The car has a nice set of 8 lug wheels and biased ply tires. The body is solid and appears to be rust free. It has new bumpers and the paint is shiny and bright. The gaps are good on the doors, trunk and hood. The stainless is in good condition. The trunk has all of the original panels and the roll out emergency lamp, floor mat, jack and spare. The car has a Ventura interior with power windows, and power seat, the power seat doesn't work. It has AM radio that works.. The seats are in good condition as is the headliner. Carpet appears newer, and the sill plates are new. The floors and frame are solid. Car drives good. If you have questions, please give me a call at 815-238-0796. If I don't answer, please leave a detailed message including your phone number and I will call you back as soon as I can. See Youtube videos at drag strip: search for "Scott Osborne". Ohio Crankshaft (4340 / 4.21" stroke), Eagle 4340 H-beam con-rods with L19 bolts (260,000 psi), DSS Racing 4.125" bore forged flat top 2 valve relief floating pistons, JE Pistons gapless second ring with plasma-moly top ring and standard oil ring, ARP main studs, ARP head bolts for Edelbrock Performer RPM (60599) 75cc chamber cylinder heads (ported exhaust), RPW SFI flexplate, Fluidampr SFI harmonic balancer, Crane Energizer aluminum (1.65:1) rocker arms, Comp Cams Magnum pushrods (9.25"), Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold port-matched to heads, Holley 4150HP carburetor (750 cfm) vacuum secondary, Flowkooler water pump, aluminum radiator with two electric fans and factory mechanical clutch-fan, Hedman headers for first-gen firebird with round-port heads (3" collectors), Flowtech mufflers with dual 2.5" exhaust, Comp Cams XE268 hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, Hughes GM25HDX converter with anti-balooning plate for power-adders, PATC "Raptor" 375THM transmission with hardened input shaft Fairbanks shift kit, 34 element sprag, etc. (look it up online), Pontiac 9.3" rear axle with 3.64:1 gear on a spool from Fabcraft in Dallas, new bushings and ball joints on front end with idler arm, sway bar bushings, pitman arm and tie-rods, solid motor mounts, Energy Suspension polyurethane transmission mount, Lokar shifter, Lokar dipstick, 3.5" Summit tachometer on dash with shift light, Butler Performance midplate for starter mounting with 375THM on early Pontiac motor, 500 watt amplifier and 10" subwoofer with stereo/CD/MP3 player. Car needs a cosmetic restoration, but looks good enough to be proud of in original condition. My intention was to build a tribute car to the early Super-Duty Catalinas. These cars were some of the first "muscle cars" ever built and were top performers at the drag strip in their day.
