For sale 1958 Morris Garage MG MGA Wire Wheel Roadster. This is a parts car or a full restoration. The suspension is not on this car but does come with it. This car was taken apart over 40 years ago and put in dry storage. It is sold without the suspension installed, you will need help loading it. This is what the car comes with that is not pictured but will come with the car: 2 chrome taillights, MG trunk emblem, 2 rear bumper brackets, gas tube with cap, wire wheel axle, 2 leaf springs, 2 rear shocks, gas tank, 2 gas tank straps, convertible top frame, 2 side windows, 2 seats, steering wheel and shaft, gas pedal, 2 front shocks, 2 front springs, 2 front shocks, 2 spring pans and accessories, front bumper extension support, mdl 1500 grille, 2 1500 engine blocks with heads and engine parts, starter, generator, coil, transmission, 4 wire wheels, 2 front fenders that are not on the car but are pictured, 2 horns. I think that might be everything but if I find some other items I will throw them in. This car has a very nice frame and has not rust on it. I would restore this car. I have been selling off a lot of my MGA's and this one needs to be back on the road and not stored away. I live 30 miles south of Cincinnati Ohio in Northern Ky exit 166 off I-75. 1959 COUPE I have a 1959 MGA wire wheel coupe with very good sheet metal (no rust) the trunk has one place that has rust and the frame is in very good condition with no rust. Has the 1500 engine and a very complete car. I do have all three pieces of the back glass in very good condition and a the front windshield in good condition. This car has been in storage for over 30 years and as you can see it is still in storage. I have not dug this car out due to all of the rain. Wire wheels and tires are in good condition.The bows for the headliner are still installed and are in good condition, chrome for drivers side door is there but not installed. ( Sorry about the pictures as this car is still in the back of the garage) This is a very complete car with very few things missing. This auction is for both cars listed here, the roadster and the coupe. I am selling several of my MGA coupes as I am losing my storage space. You will also get two extra 1500 blocks and heads and most of the parts for a complete engine also included is 2 1500 transmissions. 1958 Roadster For sale 1958 Morris Garage MG MGA Wire Wheel Roadster. This was a frame off started project, the frame was blasted any any needed repairs were made and frame was painted and the frame is in very good condition. The panels on the front have surface rust and the rear panels need repairs to the lower dog legs. Both rockers will need replaced and it does come with rockers for both sides. The trunk pan is rusted but comes with a new complete trunk pan that will need to be installed. This is a complete car as I have put most of the items in the trunk of the car, I have been selling off a lot of my MGA's and this one will be a great candidate for a restoration as it has a very good frame. I do not have a pic of all of the items that goes with the car but I will put them in the trunk. I live 30 miles south of Cincinnati Ohio in Northern Ky exit 166 off I-75. Professionally restored, 1993 ground-up, frame off by award winning Twin Brooks Restorations in Suffield, CT (documentation provided). 52,170 original miles, 4th owner, engine, brakes and cooling system rebuilt. Showed it initially but has been a driver past 15 years. Has normal road wear and tear for a car driven only in good weather and approximately 750 miles/year. I purchased car in 1979 from Urbie Green who purchased car from second owners intending to restore the vehicle around 1977. It had 23,500 original miles at that point. 1959 MGA Coupe This model of the MGA Coupe is quite rare due to limited number originally manufactured and it looks like it is starting to go up in price. This car is in presentable condition. For those interested in not doing a full restoration, the car does run and drive but needs some work before being road ready. For example: the muffler needs repair, choke cable has to be replaced, left window does not go up, few lights do not work. The car has not been driven for the last few years, so the brakes have to be checked. It is complete with original parts. The undercarriage has some rust. I can't lift the car, but what I can see that there are a few points of the frame needs some attention. The rest of the body looks solid. The low part of the left quarter back panel is bent inward. The car is sold in the condition as is and has no warranty. It is located in Toronto Ontario Canada. The car is sold with Ontario ownership ( Title) in my name. I can help the buyer to arrange worldwide shipping if needed but please do your own research regarding cost of transportation to your area. There is no problem to export to US. Easiest and most cost effective way is to pick up the car yourself. I can store the car for a reasonable time.
