1966 Mercury Monterey ConvertibleBeautiful restoration!EXTREMELY CLEAN AND SOLID!ORIGINAL OWNERS CARD AND BUILD SHEET!!!ORIGINAL "X" CODED PAINT!This car has been very meticulously maintained by the previous owners and never exposed to inclement weather.Powered by the original Mercury 390 V8 and automatic transmission. Engine and transmission were both rebuilt just 6000 miles ago and perform excellent!Mechanically extremely sound!Front and rear bumpers re-chromed.This is a beautiful Merc that is most definitely a sound investment and is surely to only keep going up in value! These Monterey's Convertibles are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. The previous owners took care in keeping the car as true to original as possible.This car truly floats down the road and is a real pleasure to drive! Everything is tight and the car hugs the road beautifully.Newer tires.Beautiful Interior! There is; however, a crack in the dashpad.This is an original "X" code Dark Maroon Metallic car that was professionally painted approximately 6 years ago. The paint shows beautifully with only a few small nicks and blemishes that have been brush touched! There is touch up paint included.Extremely CLEAN and SOLID metal underneath.
