You are bidding on a very rare 1960 Lincoln Continental Hess and Eisenhardt Town Car 1 of 136 built. These cars where sent to the Hess & Eisenhardt plant on Blue Ash Road in Rossmoyne Ohio to be hand built into a very high end luxury vehicle that only a person on the top rung of the social ladder could own. These cars cost $9207.00 in 1960 which equals $74653.00 in today's money. This car is in good condition for a 38 year old car. It has been garage kept but it is not museum quality. It is a great weekend cruiser and looks great from 10'. It does have some surface rust on the bottom of the doors, at the bottom of the vinyl top and on the edge of the sunroof. It has had one repaint that is in good condition. Everything works except the radio and the A/C. The compressor went out last week. The interior is in really good conditon with only a few cracks on the driver's seat. Recently spent over $1000 for service: carb rebuild, distributor, ignition coil, ignition control adaptor, spark plugs, fuel pump, steering tightened and A/C converted to R-134. Buyer responsible for shipping. $500 deposit thru PayPal required within 24 hours of purchase. Balance via wire transfer. I have a 1978 lincoln continental mark v with 20,000 original miles. This car was bought band new by my grandfather and was very well taken care of. I am his grandson and second owner because he passed away. Everything works in the car even the air conditioning and its never been recharged.
