Frame-up restored305-cid, 130-hp flathead V-12 engineThree-speed manual transmission,OverdriveOne of 847 cabriolets built in 1948Full CCCA ClassicFormer CCCA National Senior 1st Prize winnerRich color combinationPower top & windowsLegendary, award-winning design28,740 Miles Believed to be True Miles For more information phone 561-313-8094 The story of the original Lincoln Continental has become a legend of the Classic Era. Edsel Ford had his favored stylist, Bob Gregorie, design a customized Lincoln-Zephyr Convertible Coupe for him to drive during a winter vacation in Florida. Ford's society friends were so impressed by the design, with its low, sleek lines devoid of chrome and a rear-mounted spare, that it was soon put into production. The result, dubbed the Continental as a reflection of its styling influences. Arguably, the Continental was the first true “personal luxury” car, as it was a large two-door, five-passenger automobile that was sporty enough for the polo player, but also elegant enough to park at the country club. It was that dual-personality appeal and outright beautiful design that have made it a lasting legend and among the most popular of CCCA Classics. The Lincoln Continental featured advanced European styling that left a powerful impression on the American public. Its design was so greatly appreciated that in 1951 the Museum of Modern Art selected the Continental as one of eight automotive works of art. Eight years later Time magazine ranked it in its top ten of choices of the 100 best designed commercial products. Finished in a shade reminisce of Lincoln Maroon, the Continental has a tan leather interior and tan canvas power-operated top that contributes to the richness of presentation. The 1948 Lincoln Continental was powered by a 305-cid, 130-hp flathead V-12 engine that is connected to a three-speed column-shift manual transmission, which was standard for this model. It is reported this is the original powerplant. This Lincoln is a former Classic Car Club of America National Senior First Prize winner that still has a strong presence. Among the desirable features are fender skirts, power windows, Firestone whitewall tires, front and rear bumper guards, clock, radio, heater, factory wheel covers and the ubiquitous Continental kit. With only 847 Lincoln Continental cabriolets built in 1948, it is suitable for any collection, as well as for enjoyment in tours and CCCA activities, and it reflects the dashing nature of both its designer and its creator. We are proud to offer for sale a rare 1966 Lincoln 4 Door Convertible VIN # 6Y86G414059, one of a limited production run of 3180 produced in 1966. We acquired this car on September of 2013 from a lawyer in Buffalo NY. His family owned this car since the early 1990’s, and because of a divorce between his parents the car sat untouched in his mother’s garage since then. When we received the car it was in clean rust free condition and had been repainted to a burgundy color. Originally the cars exterior color is Teakwood (Color code H) and interior is pinkish (we have all the original upholstery; it was in great condition with no rips; only flaw was the undesirable paint color). Photos of the car prior to the restoration project and as progress was made are available upon request. We have restored this car to its original condition; only a few small things have been upgraded like the brake master cylinder, AC converted to R134A, Dynamat added to the floor panel and rear deck lid, and the exterior color changed to black; otherwise this car is completely original. No expense was spared to use NOS or rebuilt parts to keep the cars originality and to make sure it drives and works just like new, just like it was in 1966. All original parts were saved and will be passed on to the new owner. This was not a frame off restoration but came very close to it. Please review all the pictures and you will observe that the engine and transmission were removed and parts around them were sand blasted and coated in either paint or POR-15 to protect the chassis and frame cross members from rust. The only sheet metal part that had to be cut off and replaced was the battery tray; for some odd reason Ford used different metal to make the trays therefore they always have to be replaced. At this time the vehicle has been driven over 1500 miles since it was put together. Each mile driven was used to make adjustments and fine tuning and to ensure the vehicle is in top running shape. We are confident to say that this car can be driven cross-country without any hesitation; we did a 350-mile day run in August with 90+ temperatures without any issues. Below we will make a list of parts and work done to the vehicle. The car is painted in Global PPG Color code C040 Schwartz the same found on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The clear is a PPG DELTRON 4000 the car has four coats all around. The interior is done in black leather with white piping; the carpet is made by Jim Wallace of Leather Restorations in Florida the only company making an exact carpet specifically made for this car and has a the original rubber padding with the Lincoln logo like the car had when new. The top is also made by Jim Wallace and is an exact replica of the factory top with padding to hide the wires. The top is brand new but during installation and adjustment each side received a small scratch quarter of an inch long next to the chrome part on the rear of the roof. The top received all brand new weather-stripping; it took over 6 months to receive the handmade parts and the top weather stripping kit alone costs over $4K. The entire top and window electronics work like new: most of the window switches have been replaced and all new window motors installed. The rear windows roll down when you open the doors and roll up when the doors are closed. Some of the hydraulic top motors were replaced, some were sent out to be rebuilt. Most of the rubber moldings and padding all around the car are brand new except for the two moldings around the rear doors; the car’s moldings were in great shape and they were not replaced. Over $8k has been spent just on the weather stripping. All electronics work on the car but the A track comes in very low; the auxiliary jack we added will allow you to play music from your phone or MP3 player. The AUX jack is just one of the few items we replaced or added that are not original it can be easily removed. The engine was rebuilt by Complete Engine Rebuilding in NY in December of 2014 and still includes the remainder of the warranty. The transmission was rebuilt in June of 2015 by Dolphin Transmissions of NY and has a one year warranty. We supplied a complete Fatsco rebuilt kit so everything including the valve body was replaced. The cooling system is all brand new including the radiator, expansion tanks and all the hoses. The fuel system was completely rebuild with new filter and most of the lines replaced. The carburetor was rebuild using all original parts by J.C. Carburetor of NY, the fuel pump was rebuild by Bakers Auto in CT and the Fuel Tank by Liberty Auto In NY. The AC system has been updated to R134A: every part from the condenser, AC compressor, hoses, expansion valves are brand new; the only rebuilt part is the evaporator. The rear leaf springs and the suspension were rebuilt as well using all new bushings, shocks and bolts; all parts were provided by us and the work was done by Long Life Auto Spring in NY. The front end is completely new: most parts were brand new NOS; the calipers and the control arms we rebuilt since no replacements are available. The brake system has all brand new lines, the brake booster was updated, and a portioning valve was added to control the front disc brakes and rear drums. The power steering system has been rebuilt with all new hoses and filters. The exhaust system is Stainless Steel and is completely new with new headers. The wheels were all sandblasted and powder coated in black to match the car. The tires are Coker White walls brand new with 1500 miles on them; we added the warranty from Coker that will pass on to the new owner. The spare wheel was also repaired and sandblasted in the grey original factory color; a brand new tire for the spare wheel installed. The trunk has a brand new upholstery kit also manufactured by Jim Wallace. Most of the chrome and steel parts were sent out to S & H Chrome Refinishing in Tennessee: you have over $14K in re-chromed parts. A few pieces still need to be refinished but they are minor and hard to notice like trim that sun visors attach to and rear window frames; we have the new rear window frames as they just arrived from S & H and will pass along to the new owner. We are confident we have not mentioned even half the improvement and restoration work that was done on this vehicle; but if you have any questions about a particular part or how certain work was performed, we have documented the process and can answer any questions and address all concerns. The receipts for labor and parts add up to much more than what we are asking for the car but at this time we must let this one go… . If you plan to use a car carrier to pickup the car it must be inspected and any concerns addressed before the car leaves our possession, once we hand over the keys to the car we are not responsible. The car must be paid for within 7 days after the auction ends and picked with 10 days after the end of auction. Please ask all questions and make inspections before bidding on the car. This is a great car; numbers matching and almost completely original accept some cosmetics and minor mechanical functions. This classic is ready for show or cross-country events. I personally love the natural original wear on the interior even though it may not appear "perfect". In my opinion, it would be wiser to preserve the original red leather with discolor, and flaws in all. This was and remains a very popular collector car. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Pre-purchase inspections are welcome and I would be happy to show you the car.

I had this 1990. I had about 30000 miles on it and I drove it very little. Most years it was parked in my garage and I only took it out for cleaning and oil change. Maybe around the block. This is a very unique car, because it is not a chop-top Town Coupe. In a way it is, but it was send out by the factory to have to conversion done. There were only 24 like that and they are titled as convertibles and not like Town Coupes, like my 1978 Lincoln Convertible. I have 14 cars and mostly are classics. I kept the 1978 and I gave this 1979 to my wife and she did not drive it at all. She told me to sell it, because she feels bad about not driving it. I am 76 years old and too many toys. I am thinking about selling my Lincoln too and most of my other classic cars. Everything on this car is perfect, but it is not show-quality. It is a nice daily fair weather driver and get's more compliment then any other car I ever owned or drove.

1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible - Triple Black - A/C - Stunning Show Car!!! Complete Professional Restoration! - One Of The Best! - Must See!! Here is a stunning, fully restored 1963 Lincoln Continental 4-door Convertible in amazing, show quality condition inside and out. It received a total professional restoration that took several years to complete with a wide-open checkbook. It is truly one of the best 1963 Lincoln convertible's available on the market if not the best! There were tens and tens and tens of thousands of dollars invested in the restoration of this beauty and it shows. I believe this to be the most desirable year of Lincoln Convertibles to own, and it is a very beautiful example. It is a Presidential Black car with a black leather interior and a black top! This is the absolute best and most desirable color combo to own!! This is the car to have if you want to feel like an instant celebrity. It's the ultimate cruiser and it gets more attention and appreciation then any exotic or new luxury car could ever get. These Lincolns are featured in many movies, music videos and is very well known in the HBO show "Entourage". The 1963 Lincoln Continental became one of the most influential automobile designs of the 1960's! It's loaded with the following equipment: 430ci V8AutomaticPower Windows (Works)Power Locks (Works)6-Way Power Seat (Works)Power Steering Power BrakesVintage Air Conditioning (Blows Ice Cold)Power Top (Works)AM Radio (Works)Wide White Wall TiresEtc..... This amazing Lincoln has less then 50 miles on the complete restoration! The exterior of this car is in stunning condition. It has a gorgeous, show quality paint finish done in the best color of Presidential Black. It was done in base coat - clear coat and hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is totally solid and is as straight as an arrow. The body was stripped to bare metal before it was painted. The doors and lids were removed for a more comprehensive professional restoration. Every piece of chrome and the stainless on the car is brand new inside and out and is in show condition. This car really shows like a diamond! It is sitting on a set of brand new Coker wide white wall tires with fully polished hubcaps that look amazing!! It has a beautiful, completely all new black genuine leather interior in it that looks amazing. It has new chrome on the instrument panel and throughout the interior. The wood veneer on the doors and dash were completely restored. Everything works on the car, which includes the power top, power windows, power seat, power locks, AM Radio, Clock, all the gauges and lights. The power windows and the power top system have been all gone through and work great. The original AM radio and power antenna was completely rebuilt and works great for tunes while cruising this baby. All of the power top motors and switches were fully rebuilt. It has a completely rebuilt convertible top mechanism and hydraulics by noted local Lincoln expert Ken Berger including new cylinders, lines, motors and relays. The black German Haartz cloth canvas convertible top is brand new. Inside the trunk is also fully redone using the correct material! Mechanically, this little beauty runs and drives beautiful. The engine compartment is all stock and beautifully detailed to show condition. This car always starts right up and floats down the road like new. It has correct 430ci engine runs smooth and quiet and is true pleasure to drive. It also has a brand new exhaust system on it. For complete driving comfort it has a new vintage air conditioning and heating system installed in the car that blows 36 degrees at the vents. This system uses the factory A/C vents plus and few extra vents added for maximum cooling on those hot days. This system was installed due to the fact that it works 50 times better then the factory A/C system and yet still looks factory!! This is an ultra rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on and is one of the best years for the Lincoln Continental convertibles. They only made a limited amount of Lincoln Continental convertibles in 1963. I have owned over 50 Continental convertibles in the past several years and this is the nicest one out of all them. The previous, nicest one sold for over $100K a couple years ago this car tops that car in overall quality and condition. There is a lot of junk for sale out there and it would cost over $100K just in restoration costs to make any of them the quality of this particular car. All in all, this is a stunning car that needs absolutely nothing and ready drive, enjoy and win car shows in. This car is amazing condition and literally stops traffic with the amount of attention it receives, WOW what a find! Don't let the price scare you, if you want the best here it is!! If you have any additional questions please Call Bob Adams at 480-628-4778 or 480-314-0669 with any questions you might have and I can help with shipping quotes and arrangements. Here is a great example of a 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible! Over 45k+ invested! Try to find another one for this price that is in this good of shape with upgrades!!! The paint is a sparkling pearl white and is in good shape. The body is super straight and there is no rust. The interior seats and carpet set are like new. New custom 20" wheels and tires, new suspension, front disc brake conversion, all chrome inside and out including the bumpers has been show quality re-chromed, flow master exhaust, engine is original and runs great and transmission/differential/all fluids have been serviced. All of the mechanical top has been gone through (new cylinders and pumps etc.) and it cycles well. There is a blue tooth radio in the glove box. Currently there is a white top on the car (original top and the frame is in excellent shape). There is a tear in the vinyl top and that's the only thing that would need to be replaced (if you wanted to) to make the car perfect (see youtube videos on request of top and the car running). Most every major part on this car has been been replaced using factory parts...any questions just ask! All NOS parts bought from Lincoln Land, Bakers or other Lincoln specialists. I have boxes and boxes of spare/hard to find parts (spares/cores etc). The original shop and convertible top manuals as well as several folders of receipts (20k+) are included. This car is an excellent driver, tracks straight down the road and stops great!! NO LEAKS. DRIVE IT HOME. For serious buyers ONLY email me for links to youtube videos that show and tell you most everything about the car including the motor running, a walk around the car with specific details and the top cycling (eBay won't let me insert static web links). No time wasters or dreamers....please! The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. The car is for sale locally and on many other sites. Thanks for L@@KING!!

This vehicle is a restored 1961 Lincoln Continental Convertible. It best fits the mode of a "daily driver" versus a show car. There are minor defects in in the body, paint and chrome (all of which received restoration over the course of ownership). None of the imperfections are glaring to the casual observer. The vehicle features custom diamondback whitewall tires (with red line stripping) along with 13" Dayton wire rims (custom spare is included). The original engine was replaced for better drive-ability; it possesses a 430 engine with approximately 57K miles. The interior has the original look, however an upgrade stereo system was added in the the glove compartment to meet up to date standards (out of sight of viewing and can be operated via an app on your smart phone). The vehicles boast working AC uncommon in many of the models of this particular year. Primary work on the vehicle was under the inspection and instruction of Chris Dunn owner of Lincoln Land in Clearwater Florida; where they specialized in Lincoln vehicles of the 60's era and other years. The vehicle has been under my ownership for the past decade, in addition to one other owner for the decade preceding. Preservation of the vehicle has seen storage or garage units for the majority of the previous two decades. The purchase of the vehicle was made through Lincoln Land. In regards to completing the sale, I am open to varies payment methods wire transfer, cashiers check etc. Shipping of the vehicle will be required of the buyer, however, if the destination is extreme, negotiation of the expense can be discussed.
