1997 Granatelli “Wide Body” Custom Cobra SVT Mustang Convertible “FANG” 427 V8 650+hp 6-Speed California Original Owner Show Car From the famed Granatelli stable of high end Custom Designed Ford Cars/Trucks and modeled after the 1000 hp Street Driven Summit Racing Pro Millennium "million dollar" Mustang, this custom Granatelli Cobra Mustang “FANG” is the 650+ hp little brother. Granatelli built three similar custom Mustangs: Pro Millennium, THRILLER & FANG. The body for this one-owner Ford Cobra Mustang was modified using “All Steel” and no Bondo. The hood, nose and rear diffuser were one off and fabricated with a Carbon Composite. The car was finished off by Euro Body with six coats of black Giasurit paint and twin silver stripes. Once completed, this Granatelli Wide Body Mustang show car "FANG" was featured in the Main Hall at SEMA in Las Vegas by Granatelli Motor Sports and in 2001 Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords did a 4-page full color spread on the car. FANG is as happy on the street as it is on the track and runs as good as it looks. The car was built to be a 200+ MPH Cobra Mustang and JR Granatelli recently stated that he drove it on the open road at a speed of 200MPH and there still was plenty more to go... JR Granatelli sincerely refers to this car as "one of his Babies"!
