this is probably the best sounding hotrod I own. Ipicked this mustang up a couple years ago and it had already had all the motor work done to it before purchased. what I do know about the motor is that it has isky cam and lifters sounds and runs amazing. The car is a 4 speed car and shifts smoothly with all gears.interior is a 8 out of ten a lot of it is new but not all looks great though. there is a new sound system that sounds great. there is a lot of new parts on this car but is not a ground up build. the paint is new and is a 9 out of ten. a few items like door handles and mirrors are not new and could eventually be replaced not due to not working but to give a full restoration appearance other then that I can say nothing bad about the car I will take a video of the car running and send via text because you have to here this thing run it sounds great. This car, born in San Jose, CA, has a 289cid V-8 210hp. The car was delivered to So Cal, and has remained in California its entire life. Has the correct 2 bbl carburetor and C-4 Cruisematic automatic transmission. Desirable front bucket seats. Exterior is code K, Silver Smoke Grey. The paint was redone earlier this year with a high quality base coat/clear coat and looks amazing – not a nick or scratch. Lots of new rubber moldings. Black interior, black carpet, black convertible top. A real eye catcher. New windshield with shaded band. The body was stripped, all necessary metalwork completed and then repainted a beautiful gray and black. The interior was redone, including reupholstery of the seats and replacing the door panels, carpet and dash. All new weather stripping and window lifts were installed. The engine was replaced with a Ford 392cid 400HP crate engine and the transmission with a Tremac 5 speed. The suspension has been upgraded including new disk brakes in the front and rear. It is a well sorted car with just a few short comings. The 16’ wheels limit the turning radius. The tachometer is intermittent and the gas gauge does not read accurately. Also, the new weather seals and window lifts are still a little stiff. All restoration work is well documented and provided, including a photo album and all receipts.
