For sale is a freshly restored 1966 mustang. This car has been restored from the ground up and has less than 200 test miles since completion in December 2015! Everything on this car is brand new from the wheels and tires up to the headliner. with about 90% of cars sold on ebay its a gamble of what you are going to get, you bid on a car because it looks good in pictures but when you get it, it’s a major disappointment. Please bid with confidence because this mustang is freshly restored and has 100+ restoration photos as well as a binder of receipts to back it up. this car can’t be built for the asking price and would cost 35K+ if done to this level of restoration at a shop. here is your chance to buy a freshly restored car for a fraction of the build cost. Paint and body The mustang was completely stripped apart and taken down to bare metal. New quarter panels and taillight panel were professionally replaced due to rust in the lower portion. everything was then epoxy primed and from there off to the body shop where a beautiful 2 stage dupont base coat clear coat Ruby Red was applied; after paint the clear coat was wet sanded with 1200 grit up to 3000 then buffed and polished for a mirror like shine. interior with everything striped in the interior, the dash and door were painted satin black . all seats were taken down to the metal frames, sand blasted and painted for rust protection, new deluxe seat foam was added and covered with beautiful tmi upholstery. all new cut pile carpet with mass back, underlayment, shifter, door panels, window handles, gt bezel, chrome pieces, etc etc. the entire interior is brand new from carpet to the headliner. all parts used are scott drake and made in the USA. original 1966 gt gauge cluster was restored and put back in the car. drive train everything from engine, transmission, suspension, and rear end has been replaced or rebuilt and is brand new. the original 289 was rebuilt with a mild cam, ported heads, weiand stealth intake, nos 100 shot (never used), holley 570 street avenger, trick flow fuel filter with anodized fittings and steel braided fuel lines. many parts seen and not seen are powder coated. 8" rear end rebuilt and powder coated, 3.25 gears non posi, shelby side exhaust, long tube headers, big front and rear sway bars, powder coated traction bars ,rebuilt c4 transmission and torque converter, and much more.. get in and cruise anywhere, step on the gas and the car pulls hard and has a bunch of torque in the upper rpms. electrical all electrical gone thorough and in working order, new voltage regulators, ignition switch, headlight switch, turn signal switch etc... all wires neatly tucked and heat shrinking wrap used on all connections exhaust long tube headers flow into glasspacks and exit out the side like original shelby’s. Truley an amazing rumble and sound when you step on the throttle. wheels new 14x7 styled steel wheel with BF Goodrich radial TA’s on all 4 corners Overall this mustang is one of the nicest cars for sale and ready for a new owner.
