1931 Ford Model A custom street rod pickup. Motor: is a mild chevy 350 with mild cam, tunnel ram, msd ignition, and roadster headers with baffles( sounds nice, not too loud, please see video) Transmission: is a turbo 400 with mild shift kit. Frame: The frame is completely custom made from front to back with nice smoothed welds and powdercoated. Suspension: is torsion bar/rod set up. Front drop axle and rear axle is an 8" ford chromed rear end. Brakes: 4 wheel disc brakes Cab: Cab has a big sunroof and is chopped, channeled and narrowed( IF YOU ARE A LARGE PERSON, YOU WILL NOT FIT VERY WELL) Glass: all glass is good and the side windows roll up and down. Bed: bed is off a model T, has a nice custom made tonneau cover, is carpeted, and the tailgate is functional. Paint: paint looks good from a distance, but up close, it has a couple spots around the rear window and sunroof where it has lifted and does NOT show up in pictures. Wheels: are brand new Cragar SS wheels. 15x14 rear and 15x3.5 front Tires: are brand new, 29x15.50x15 rear and fronts are Coker skinnies. Interior: is a complete custom interior in very nice shape. Has a stereo and speakers. Lights: truck has all lights and work, except for turn signals are not wired up and there is no switch. This truck is completely custom front front to rear and was build by a rod shop in Missouri. I bought from southern California here on ebay and had it shipped. I decided to sell it and move in a different direction. It has a clear California title. The truck was titled in 1974 as custom build Ford, so that is what it was titled as. Since the build was completed in 2009 the Car has been driven less than 900 miles. Purchased by the current owner from the Builder 3 years ago, it has been stored indoors and driven very little since that time. Starts right up and idles smooth. At 2000 RPM you are traveling at 50 MPH and at 2400 RPM you are at 60 MPH. Modern disc brakes so ....... no issues with stopping. Does not overheat in traffic. This hotrod has working turn signals, horn, e-brake, seat belts and a dual master cylinder.The body has been chopped 6"The Rebuilt engine is a 250 cid Chevy straight sixTri-power 3 carb set up. NOS Zeniths carbs. Simulated tri-power runs off of the center carb only, can be set up to run on all three. The finned pushrod covers and cast iron headers are from Stovebolt Engine Co.. Exhaust is custom. Distributor is a Mallory dual point. Chevrolet Turbo 350 three speed automatic transmission.The floor mounted shifter is from Gennie. Workable e-brake1932 dash was installed with Moon gauges (water temperature, oil pressure, speedo, gas, and voltage/amp meter). Steering column is from Ididit, topped by a 15" Moon wheel. Door panels are done in black/white Faux Alligator design.15" Vintique steel wheels with new Coker radial wide whites.16 gallon gas tank is custom made and is mounted behind the front seat in its own custom steel box. 1954 Buick tail lights have been "frenched" into the body. The windshield opens like a stock Model A. The frame is a 1930 model A, and has been boxed from the transmission cross member forward. The frame has also been Z'd in the rear. Front axle is a Mor-Drop under a reverse eye'd model A spring. It is mounted to the chassis by hairpin radius rods and a panhard rod. Front shocks are from So-Cal and are mounted to the the frame by F-100 shock mounts. Front brakes are 1956 Ford F-100. Steering box is a Vega steering box, and includes a So-Cal steering damper. Rear end is a 1957 Ford 9" with the smooth cover. It is mounted the the frame by split 1940 Ford wishbones, and a reverse eyed model T spring and panhard bar. Rear shocks are from SoCal Speed Shop. Grill shell is a 1932 FordHeadlights are SoCal Speed Shop on SoCal headlight mounts. I have original hood/side panels if interested (not painted)NOTE: This is a turn-key Hotrod, and had some rattles and squeaks. 1928 Ford Model A Tudor Coupe having Chevy 350 engine and automatic tranny, This all steel body coupe has a mustang II front end forward steer with chevy spindles. It has camero rear 5 lug wheels. The door panels and head liner are made of finished tougue and groove pine Also please note that when the mustang II front end was install that the front clip was installed 9 inches forward and firewall is still factory thus allowing the small bloch to set down in easily. The running boards and roll pans have been custon built 9 inches longer to fit extended frame.
