Great running Model A Ford. Turns over without any problem. Great on backroads or highways. Mostly stock with very little modifications such as the addition of an anti sway bar. Still running on original 6v system. The car was completely restored about 20 years ago and has less than 5,000 miles. Interior is in good condition. The steering wheel has some cracks and a couple screws are patinaed, but the fabric, paint, and dash are in great condition. The exterior paint is starting to show it's age, but is still in nice condition. The black fenders have some cracks and there is minor paint loss on the hood hinge. Good quality pin striping. Recently I was going to drive this on a 200 mile trip to Detroit to attend the Old Car Festival, but rain hindered those plans - I had no concerns about the reliability of this Model A. The rumble seat creates a lot of interest. I am trying to streamline my projects and vehicles (I own a Model T and a Willy's Jeep) - I have too many projects. Sadly needs to find a new home. I'm including extra parts, manuals, and other goodies that belong with this Model A. No rust, straight body, doors open and close great, overall in solid condition. This Model A was also used as a movie prop for a James Franco movie title A Long Home (also starring Selena Gomez, Vincent D’Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston, Nat Wolff, John Savage and Sam Shepard). See last photo for car on the set.

1931 Ford Model-A all steel body (no fiberglass, no patches, no bondo) has been fully restored to its original condition previous to this owners purchase. Now, the car sits on a new LRS Perimeter frame, with Pete and Jakes axle (dropped, drilled, and chromed) with disk brakes. The car is powered by a 8BA rebuilt Flathead engine with Navarro Aluminum heads, Navarro deuce intake with Stromberg carbs, small cam. Approximately 7,000 miles since hot rod build. Obviously, this car has been converted to 12 volt. The generator is now an alternator. Has an MSD ignition system. Also has an electric fan that does well to keep the Flathead running cool. All coupled to a C-4 3-speed automatic transmission with shift kit and a Lokar Shifter. Via bell housing adapter it is pushed by a Grenada 8 inch rear differential. Rolling on Nexen 155/R15 front runners & Nexen 235/R15 back runners on real wire wheels. Paint is older, from the original restoration job so not top tier but still very nice. Interior is very clean and comfortable. The car was built to drive and driving it does... very well! Steering wheel is removable for the bigger gentleman, and is the stock A straight non-tilt column. During the cool weather there is a functioning heater. Don't forget the rumble seat so you can haul the kids in style! We have most receipts that will come with car. All new tinted glass.

Please take the time to look at the pictures and I can get more if needed. BELOW IS>>>> History of the Model A for those of you new to the Model A world. Included links to various Model A sites. We are also going to include this auction to many of the car collector sites. My client is semi famous no joke!!! He put his own special touches and these cars and truck was done right!!! You could never be disappointed if you bought this car or any of the 2 others being offered. History and Specs Prices for the Model A ranged from US$385 for a roadster to $1400 for the top-of-the-line Town Car. The engine was a water-cooled L-head 4-cylinder with a displacement of 201 cu in (3.3 l). This engine provided 40 hp (30 kW; 41 PS). Top speed was around 65 mph (105 km/h). The Model A had a 103.5 in (2,630 mm) wheelbase with a final drive ratio of 3.77:1. The transmission was a conventional 3-speed sliding gear manual unsynchronised unit with a single speed reverse. The Model A had 4-wheel mechanical drum brakes. The 1930 and 1931 editions came with stainless steel radiator cowling and headlamp housings. The Model A came in a wide variety of styles: Coupe (Standard and Deluxe), Business Coupe, Sport Coupe, Roadster Coupe (Standard and Deluxe), Convertible Cabriolet, Convertible Sedan, Phaeton (Standard and Deluxe), Tudor Sedan (Standard and Deluxe), Town Car, Fordor (2-window) (Standard and Deluxe), Fordor (3-window) (Standard and Deluxe), Victoria, Station Wagon, Taxicab, Truck, and Commercial. The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals; throttle and gearshift. Previous Ford models used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model A's fuel tank was located in the cowl, between the engine compartment's fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear view mirror was optional. [1] In cooler climates, owners could purchase an aftermarketcast iron unit to place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab. A small door provided adjustment of the amount of hot air entering the cab. Model A was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield.[6]The Soviet company GAZ, which started as a cooperation between Ford and the Soviet Union, made a licensed version of the Model A from 1932–1936. [7] This itself was the basis for the FAI and BA-20 armored car, which saw use as scout vehicles in the early stages of World War II.In addition to the United States, Ford made the Model A in plants in Argentina, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom and Denmark. In Europe, where cars were taxed according to engine size, Ford equipped the Ford Model A with a 2,033 cc (124.1 cu in) engine providing a claimed output of just 28 hp (21 kW; 28 PS). [8] However, the engine size was still large enough to equate to a fiscal horsepower of 14.9 hp [9] (as opposed to the 24 hp of the larger engine) and attracted a punitive annual car tax levy of £24 in the UK and similar penalties in other principal European markets. [10] It therefore was expensive to own and too heavy and thirsty to achieve volume sales, and so unable to compete in the newly developing mass market, while also too crude to compete as a luxury product. European manufactured Model As failed to achieve the sales success in Europe that would greet their smaller successor in England and Germany. All parts are interchangeable, exceptthe worm gear, 2 races & 2 bearings. The Ford box has a large “F” on the outside where the worms are located. This change was made in December of 1930 (See page 518 Service Bulletins). The Ford box used a #9 roller bearing, while the Gemmer box used a #13 roller bearing. This also changes the taper on the bearings & races. The only parts available today are for the Gemmer box; therefore, if you have the Ford box with #9 roller bearings & it becomes necessary to change any of the 5 parts, then you must convert to all 5 of the Gemmer components (A3524CD, (2) BB3571, A3553D, BB3552) 600W Oil Usage SpecificationsTransmission 1 pintRear End 1-1/2 Quarts7-tooth Steering Box 7-3/4 ounces2-tooth Steering Box 4-1/2 ounces Rear Axle SpecificationsType Three quarter floatingMaterial Special Ford carbon manganese steelGear Ratio 3.78:1 (34-9) Early 1928: 3.7:1 (37-10) Trucks: 4.11:1 (37-9)1928-29 Roadsters: 3.54:1 (39-11)Pinion Bearing Cup Double taper roller type B4616Bearing Cup B4222Differential Bearing B4221Ring Gear 8.4" pitch diameter, 1-3/16" wide teethAxle Shaft 1-1/8" diameter, 1.128"-1.130"Dimension From Housing Flange to Bearing Shoulder Before 1929-1.370"-1.372", After 1929-1.365"-1.367"ID of Wheel Hub 3.188"-3.190": max. wear 3.185"Axle & Drive Shaft Seal B4245Inner Axle Seal B4245Differential Lubricant 600WNew Bearing Torque 20 foot poundsBolt Torque 35 foot poundsAxle Backlash .010"-.015"Axle End Play .015"-.020"Length of Full Spline 2-1/2"Spline Minor Diameter .901"-.911"Spline Outer Diameter 1.090"-1.091"Pinion Bearing Torque 15-20 foot pounds Front Spring SpecificationsMaterial Chromium steel alloyFront Spring Leaf Width 1-3/4"Front Spring Free Length 30-13/16" to 30-15/16"Leaf Thickness 1-31/32" to 2-1/16"Spring Off Car- Height from Top to Bottom as Sitting on Floor 6-15/16" to 7-1/16"Spring Off Car- Center of Eye to Eye 30-5/8" to 30-13/16"Ford blueprints called for each leaf to be coated with a thick paste of graphite ground in oil. We've owned this vehicle for about 5 years and have kept it in the garage when not in use. It has not been driven much by us, just afternoon drives in the local towns. We purchased it from a private seller who likes antique cars. It is in as original condition as possible, nothing souped up or the like. All the windows function and the rear one even has a little shade. The front seats fold forward without issue, the headliner is intact, the floors are a bit spotty, and the horn still works. We will not ship this vehicle but expect the buyer to pick it up from an agreed-upon location.

Very nice, Rust free, unaltered 1929 Model A roadster. Been sitting the last 15 years covered up in a garage after the owner passed away. Brought it home, changed all the fluids, flushed the fuel system and fired right up. Runs excellent, no smoke. Runs and drives great, will need tires, they hold air but have dry rot. Car was painted in the late 60's or early 70's. still shows well, but some crake and scratches in the paint. Very nice driver quality car. No prior rust repair seen, Both front fenders have a small crack in the steel, looks like they tried to repair it when they painted it and it cracked again. Minor repair to fix, floor pans are excellent. Top is in nice shape with 1 small tear, all the top framework is in nice shape, windshield is clear and no cracks. Rumble seat has 1 seam in the fabric that the stitches split on, can be re sewn. This is a very nice original car. Hard to find one that has not been welded on or modifiedl. Will work with Buyers if shipping is needed. Car is sold as is and where is. I encourage any interested parties to inspect the car before purchasing. For sale locally as well. **Relisted with significant price drop. Priced to sell. This is a very nice original car. Move fast, this will sell quickly.
