Body is in overall good condition has normal rust in bottom of cowl panels, quarter panels, wheel wells have had some bad patch work done. There is old patching on bottoms of cowl panels and there are cracks in firewall where hood rods mount. Sub rails are very good condition have not been modified Complete new wood kit New inside door and window handles and estutions. Front and rear fenders, window regulators, window felt channels, window bottom channel New running boards, new fender welting and frame mount tape Hood tops and sides, other miscellaneous parts and hardware in boxes Multiple sets of headlights Gas tank, windshield garnish molding and door, side and rear moldings Visor, dash metal and roof pieces Headlight bar, grill shell splash apron This item is listed as Local pick up only but I am willing to crate up and assist in loading on a freight truck. 1931 Ford Model A custom street rod pickup. Motor: is a mild chevy 350 with mild cam, tunnel ram, msd ignition, and roadster headers with baffles( sounds nice, not too loud, please see video) Transmission: is a turbo 400 with mild shift kit. Frame: The frame is completely custom made from front to back with nice smoothed welds and powdercoated. Suspension: is torsion bar/rod set up. Front drop axle and rear axle is an 8" ford chromed rear end. Brakes: 4 wheel disc brakes Cab: Cab has a big sunroof and is chopped, channeled and narrowed( IF YOU ARE A LARGE PERSON, YOU WILL NOT FIT VERY WELL) Glass: all glass is good and the side windows roll up and down. Bed: bed is off a model T, has a nice custom made tonneau cover, is carpeted, and the tailgate is functional. Paint: paint looks good from a distance, but up close, it has a couple spots around the rear window and sunroof where it has lifted and does NOT show up in pictures. Wheels: are brand new Cragar SS wheels. 15x14 rear and 15x3.5 front Tires: are brand new, 29x15.50x15 rear and fronts are Coker skinnies. Interior: is a complete custom interior in very nice shape. Has a stereo and speakers. Lights: truck has all lights and work, except for turn signals are not wired up and there is no switch. This truck is completely custom front front to rear and was build by a rod shop in Missouri. I bought from southern California here on ebay and had it shipped. I decided to sell it and move in a different direction. It has a clear California title. The truck was titled in 1974 as custom build Ford, so that is what it was titled as. 1931 FORD MODEL A 5 WINDOW CHOP TOP COUPE Old School Hot Rod/Rat Rod with lots of patina! MOTOR: 400 SBC that is in stock form with 3 carb intake and mallory ignition that runs great! T-bucket header and side pipes with baffles. Transmission: 200r4 automatic over-drive transmission that shifts good. REAREND: 12 bolt GM with highway gears?(not sure of the ratio?) FRONTEND: Custom made spring behind drop axle BRAKES: Disc front and drum rear. SUSPENSION: Rear is a single old school stock type leaf pack with ladder bars, Front is a leaf spring with a reverse coil spring to take a shocks place with a hairpin style trailing arm. GLASS: All the glass is in good shape and the front windshield still tilts out. INTERIOR: Old School 50's style Red vinyl with white piping, custom done by an upholstery shop. TIRES\WHEELS: Old school steel wheels with hub caps and whitewall tires. BODY: The body is all steel and solid. Chopped top. This was not a rotten old car to start with, it's all there. But not perfect and full of imperfections that give it lots of old school patina. DASH: out of a mid fifties chevy car. All the gauges seem to work good. This car has full lights and turn signals that seem to work good. This car runs and drives very well for an old school hot rod. Can go 70 mph down the freeway. Tires are in good shape. The only thing it really needs is a battery cut off switch. The battery will drain down if it sits for a long time without being started or driven. This is an extremely fun car to drive around in and take to car shows and gets the thumbs up everywhere you drive it. I have described this car to the best of my knowledge. I Built this car from scratch the last few years. It's a fabricated Model A frame and glass body. I'm looking to start an engineering and machining company, so I need the money to start it otherwise I wouldn't be selling it. I get a ton of compliments and everyone breaks their neck to look at the car. I had it painted with firemist purple, which is an iridescent paint that has a ton of flake. I never got around to fully upholstering the car but it looks nice as it is, plus you can choose how you'd like it to be done. Suicide doors. The engine has 6,000 original miles and is spotless. I used a 2002 Corvette LS1 (programmable ECU with brand new painless wire harness) with a 4l60e transmission (Electronic shifting) and a 8.8" ford rear end, which all have been rebuilt fully. The rear end has a locker in it and drives just fine. It has 327 gears and gets awesome mileage with tons of power to spare. I'm thinking its close to 400hp after the larger mass air flow and silver ceramic headers. The suspension is all chrome from speedway motors. I have about $5,000 just in chrome parts on this car.
