I bought this truck drove it straight to the body shop and had them replace the bad metal with new metal. That consisted of typical drivers floor and some of the bed. I replaced the shocks U joints, ball joints and bushings, wheel bearings, all of the brakes complete, cylinders shoes, hardware, brake lines, drums turned, and master cylinder. I also sent the transmission in to be rebuilt. I had the underside coated of the body and chassis and also a new exhaust. The engine has always been strong so I did not replace it. I have replaced the carburetor with a new one five years ago. The radiator, water pump, thermostat and housing and also the starter. The rubber and glass were replaced with new and new mirrors. I drove this truck as a truck. I hauled bikes and scratched up the bed typical truck. I recommend a new paint job. The bads are it has a hole in the metal on the drivers side where the door was shut and the seatbelt was caught in between [DAM SEAT BELTS] you can see it in the pics. The top of the cab is developing small surface rust. You can see in the other pics the tail gate was stolen, so there is no tailgate. Other than that this truck drives like new smooth and quiet. I also have a old after market A.C. unit that mounts under the dash and I never installed it. It also comes with pump and cooler. This is a Beautiful 1959 F100 Style side Pickup Custom Cab. Located in Virginia Beach VA. The body and frame are in excellent condition and very solid! This is a project that was started but not completed when I go it but I have tried my best to bring it back into it's glory days and beyond! Very nice stance to the truck as it has been lowered and had disk brakes put on the front, drums in the rear. Needs new emergency brake cable ( all standard brakes in good working order). Many new suspension parts and new steering box. New brake booster and master cylinder. Mild cam put in the well maintained 302, New Holley Model 2300 Carburetor 2-Bbl 500 CFM 0-4412C. New shocks and Tires. Lokar automatic shift kit put in on top of the C4 transmission. Kit has a double goose neck bend to the shifter and looks great in the truck! Freshly done undercoating and spray in bed liner. The paint is excellent, all water born with metal flake and cleared, dark green main body with darker silver top of cab. Interior is done in the same amazing two tone paint job. See the pictures on the inner doors for a great view! New mirrors, exterior handles, custom cab trim and bumper and box mounting kits. Trans cooler has been relocated to behind the clean flushed and repainted radiator. I could not use the old fan shroud after this change so a new one should be purchased and installed to help keep things cool. New hoses, belts and fuel tank seals and hose as well. All glass has new seals after fresh install but the drivers side window is broken and needs replaced. Still rolls up and down but cosmetically is lacking! Please read condition description section for and additional minor defects or part issues. Original bumpers, grill and headlight trim. Not re chromed but still in good condition. Truck has new carpet and Ford Emblem floor mats. New straight pipe exhaust (LOUD) (Very LOUD) :) New Rebel Wire complete harness installed! Phoenix Gold midrange speakers downward facing sub under seat and amp under seat, dash volume control and phone hookup on dash to play music. No radio in dash or glove box! Awesome System!! Stereo system is not included with the sale unless full price is offered. Love this truck and proud of it but have other family obligation that has stopped me from the small amount of work that is still needed to call this 100% complete! Finish this beauty and have the best looking truck in town! Its probably already the best looking anyway! I'm not going to say my loss is your gain as this truck has been a wonderful experience and I know I have treated her right as I am sure she will to you as well!
