The year 1999 is the first year the 360 succeeded the 355. A lightweight aluminum body, 400hp, increased aerodynamics, and simplified serviceability were all ushered in by the 360 Modena. Cars made only in 1999 have one less catalytic converter than all the other years of production, which makes the 1999 360's the most powerful and fastest. I also wish to point out this is NOT A SILVER Ferrari. This rare color is grigio titanio which translates from Italian to 'titanium gray'. It's a beautiful rich finish with a metallic flake. The original wheels were powder coated a deep gunmetal which compliment the appearance a lot better than the bland silver alloy. The interior is a special order "bull red" leather by Ferrari which truly gives the car a unique zest. It looks amazing. All together this Ferrari is probably the nicest looking 360 out there. Originally sold for $253,000 back in 1999 and I have the sale contract to prove it. Some tasteful upgrades it had along the way are a Viper security system, premium sound system with Pioneer head unit and 2x 10" Diamond Hex behind-the-seat subs, Bluetooth phone and sound, and a Tubi exhaust system. The Tubi does a great job at bringing out that Ferrari sound. It sings beautifully. All these upgrades were professionally installed with receipts. New Michelin tires and newer brakes. Just took the car through a full service with new clutch (100%), fresh fluids, and everything inspected and perfectly functional.
