Manual 6 Speed, 3 pedal Ferrari’s are more rare and sought after than the automatic F1 type transmissions. They are more reliable and cost less to maintain over the life of ownership. As a result, traditional manual transmission cars are commanding a premium over F1 transmissions. 1999 Ferrari 360's were the only year that did not have pre-cats, therefore the car comes from the factory like the European spec models (with no pre-cats) with more power than with 2000+ model years and won't run into problems with degradation of the pre-cat and potentially damaging your engine (pre-catalytic failure is common on model 2000 and newer Ferrari 360’s and 2006+ Ferrari F430’s) This came with the rare tan leather option with black upper dash AND black carpet. Most of all tan leather Ferrari’s also came with tan carpets which soil extremely easily. The original owner of the car specifically ordered this 360 with manual seats to keep the car lightweight. An additional plus is that manual seats also reduce the risk of seat motor failure. It has been extremely well maintained and driven frequently. As many Ferrari owners can confirm, the less a Ferrari is driven, the more problems you will have.
