For Sale 1981 Camaro Race car $4,500 obo This is a FAST 1981 Dirt track race car less motor, carburetor and distributer. This is a professionally built frame for dirt track racing on an 1981 Camaro ( $4,500). It is very fast and was a front running car at Cleveland and Edna, Tx. 3 wheel disc brakes as the right front has a blank HD hub and adjustable brake bias valve. Stock lower control arms. Replacement rebuildable ball joints. After market front end parts including spindles, hiem rod ends all around, HD connecting links, tie rods and connecting link ($2,800 in parts). All HD front end parts are from Day Automotive. The upper control arms are tubular replacements with the correct length for circle tack cornering (short on the right side, long on the left side). The front end was computer setup and printout available. Adjustable weight jaks up front. The rear end is a 9in Ford full floater with 6.00 gears, full spool, aftermarket 31 spine axles and light weight rear disc brakes. 5in bolt circle with 5/8 studs on all axles. 20 gal fuel cell, custom wiring system, Kirkley racing seat, 2 quick disconnect steering wheels, racing power steering and Z28 quick steering box and 2.0/1 steering multiplier. New seat belts for 2021. Straight frame and very sturdy roll cage, aluminum side panels. Fiberglass roof and Hood. New battery in 2021. Brinn 2 speed racing transmission with new clutch pack 2021 season. Steel bell housing and mini high torque starter. Hydraulic clutch. For extra cost I have a rebuilt non-sealed 602 available for $2,8oo. (The engine is a 358 ci 10 /1 compression externally balanced rotating assembly, non-sealed 602, original hydraulic lifter camshaft). Car comes with a double pass radiator, new MSD-6AL ignition. Very reliable and powerful ignition system. Installed new QA-1 rebuildable shocks properly valved for each wheel in 2021. We raced this car once last year at Cleveland, Tx in street stock class to break-in the engine. This car has lots of track time left in it. The wheels are 15 x 8 x 5in bc with H500 tires. There are over $15,000 in parts in this car. Included with the car are 5 extra tires and wheels, extra bad lock, extra wheels, axle spacers, 2 tie rods, shackle, steel bushings for control arms, extra lower control arms over ($2,200) in costs. All tires have good tread. I also have a complete new Performance Bodies slab body that fit this car ($1,500) that can be purchased separately for $750. This car needs a younger driver and hit the track with an engine that meets your local rules. I suggest you buy this-car less motor & transmission. The engine is not sealed! 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Tribute

This is a very special 1967 Camaro. Not only is it a real RS, it's got an awesome color combination that's subtle yet striking, a manual gearbox, and a strong-running small block V8. Not enough? Then take a good, long look at the quality that went into the restoration and then double-check the price. This one is a keeper! The cowl tag says this one was originally code E Deepwater Blue, but now looks to be a very handsome shade closer to Marina Blue. It clearly gives the car an upscale look that won't be seen at every show. Restored by the experts at Corvette Country, the bodywork is beautifully done with crisp, sharp detailing and a lot of effort invested in getting the sheetmetal to look its best. A fully functional cowl induction hood gives this subtle F-body a slightly aggressive look and the RS hidden headlights combined with front and rear spoilers give it a performance look that defines the early Camaro. It was treated to an SS upgrade during the restoration, including the blacked-out grille, white stripe around the nose and requisite SS emblems as needed. Nicely finished bumpers with bumper guards, polished stainless rocker moldings, and proper RS taillights round out a very well finished Camaro ragtop. The code 797-K Black and Parchment custom bucket seat interior is the car's original selection and now you can better understand why the Marina Blue paint was selected for the exterior. It's all new inside, of course, but the patterns, colors, and textures are accurately reproduced and the handsome black inserts on the seats add an upscale look. It shows almost zero wear since the restoration was completed about 200 miles ago and remains quite stock throughout save for a modern AM/FM/cassette stereo in place of the original AM unit in the center stack. Auxiliary gauges are neatly installed on the center console, the usual location in early Camaros, and there's a Hurst cue ball knob on top of the 4-speed shifter, making this F-body a lot of fun to drive. A fresh white convertible top fits superbly and is as tight as a drum, while the trunk is correctly detailed with a reproduction mat.

This build was commissioned by a celebrity with the intent of creating a best in class pro-touring car that perfectly combines the original styling with modern technology/equipment. The concept was to construct a 1968 Camaro with largely original appointments and details, though set up like a road race/Can Am car and able to enjoy as a streetable car or compete in Autocross or Track Day events, which it ultimately has never done. Mechanicals, tuning and fabrication completed by Bill Andrews at HRE Racing, Freeport NY (famed Cobra builder). You simply could not replicate this build for the reserve price. If you are educated on these pro-touring machines, you will appreciate the thoughtful design behind this project and the careful attention to detail in building it.
