This beautiful black 1977 Monte Carlo has been completely restored, has a 650 HP big-block motor and is in as-new condition. If you are interested in a really strong beautiful 1970s hot rod this could be the one. This project started with a frame-off, cost-no-object restoration in 1987, but was driven only sparingly after completion. The original big-block engine and Nash 5-speed transmission proved problematic, and the owner faced college and other family expenses that took the option of a top-quality rebuild off the table for many years. But the owner loved the car and held on to it, putting it into climate controlled storage about 1990. His circumstances changed in recent years and the no-expense-spared build of a new big-block motor mated to a 6-speed Richmond manual transmission was installed quite recently. All told, the owner has invested well over $100k in this beautiful and fast hot rod. Check out the photos and you will see what I mean. The owner recently retired and moved to a condo in Florida and has decided that it is finally time to part with this well-cared-for custom. The car is located in the Boston metropolitan area and the owner is available for any and all questions. For sale is a very nice 1976 Monte Carlo, Swivel "bucket seats" center console floor shifter, and one of a kind in my eyes with an LT1/700R4 combo. Siting on 15' Ralley Rims, Michelin tires with all the spare tire parts. Engine - LT1 350 from a 1996 Corvette GM Performance Intake, Edelbrock Carburetor , fuel pressure regulator, Electric fan, front disk breaks, power steering, Long tube headers, glass packs dual exhaust, AC not hooked up. Transmission - 700 R4 Factory 10 Bolt Limited Slip Diff This cars previous owner years ago from what I was told swapped the motor in 1998, he went to many Chevy Fest Shows and won prizes which I have the paperwork, I have the build sheet and a few original documents with the car which are in the pictures. Original tag still on the front of the car, There is a picture of the car in the show at one time. Owners manual, dealer brochure. The car runs and drives like your floating along, drives straight, breaks good not washy in the steering; all the lights work, horn Speedo works, gauges and odometer. Appears polly urethane bushing have been placed on some items, car is solid underneath and only a few areas with light rust. A little rust building under the top but not uncommon nor out of complete control. This car was redone in the 90's and still looks good. 500 non refundable deposit, if you use paypal to pay remainder add 2.9% for paypal fee, thank you very much. Car is for sale locally , not sure how long this one will be around, reasonable offers will be taken seriously.

I repainted it to it's original maroon color and had new body side molding installed after the paint job was complete. I had a new vinyl top installed. Bought new emblems and opera window trim for the new top and new tail light emblems. Rebuilt the carburetor. Had the air conditioning system rebuilt with a new compressor installed to todays standards. Had new duel exhaust installed. Bought new rally trim rings. Replaced the transmission gasket and filter. Had new transmission mounts replaced and new tires installed. The previous owner had a new radiator, shocks, and wheel bearings installed in 2005. I bought the car from the original owners son in Las Vegas. His dad bought it new on 6/22/76 at Pollard-Wittman-Robb Chevrolet in Van Nuys, CA.I have the original build sheet and some other papers from when it was bought new. I've kept the car garaged and covered as long as I have owned it. It has 82,000 original miles. The car runs and looks great. I always keep the fuel tank full with fuel stabilizer so no rust forms in the tank. I take it out a least once a month to get the engine hot and get all the fluids moving around. I have all the receipts for the work I have done. I also have some of the receipts from the previous owner. " THE CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH NO WARRANTY"
