I was driving it some to car shows once a year. Garaged 10 years otherwise. Has some rust out at bottom of doors on bottom and as pictured above rear tire and a makeshift paint job but it is clean and runs drivable. Recent brake job and new sport lines. Tires are good shape new 60s on back. Unknown Actual Miles No Miles Are On the Title as Odometer was broken when I got it fixed now, I got so it is assumed 1000000+ Please only serious inquiries with cash in hand or liquefiable check payable at the currency exchange teller window, and MUST do Title transfer, there is a currency exchange up the street and tax and license and plates runs you about $160 and $35.00 transfer fee to get plates Etc. Qualifies for antique plate’s cheaper and or expanded antique plate you drive from April to Oct. Unless Out of state buyers must sign this sales as contract bought and sold to buyer as is; no other warranties expressed or implied, arrangements are made with the owner first in writing. Must be a legal transfer of Title. It has had a few other owners; however the Title and Licenses are good registered with the State of Illinois a number of years. For sale is a 1985 Monte Carlo SS. This engine runs good. It has a 305 Four Barrel, Carburetor, Duel Exhaust and STOCK positive traction Rear End. It has an automatic transmission. It is black with Maroon interior. It has a maroon interior and trunk lid on it. Rear quarter’s minor rust on rear edges of wheel wells and on the bottom of the doors spoiler has typical few in hairline cracks on each side typical of this type of car, apparently some bondo there so it is NOT getting worse, floors; frame, nose and trunk appear solid. Trunk lid opens with button up front. It is a running car part(s) at local Chevy Dealers, available on various JC Whitney or Monte Carlo Websites. It has a clear Illinois title. Both doors are working. It has power windows (right side does not work seems like the connectors fuse or some minor electrical as the motor appears to be new in the window [I Don't know]), bench seats and column shift. It has the factory steel wheels on it I think... Has original SS Horn cover and horn is wired to a dash button and works fine. [Rust repair on floorboards riveted steel plate. And some rust.] [The horn is a button on the dash. Not on the steering column.] Heater works great. The Air Conditioner on this car does not work needs upgrade to new Freon another easy fix kit or rebuild would be the next thing I do but the price will go up. So get it now. Any and all interior and exterior trim and chrome pieces can now be purchased at Dixie Monte Carlo or others. This is a wonderful true sports car and I hope the new owner has as much fun as I have had owning and driving it to the car show. This is a 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo. I bought it about it about 5 years ago and restored it in 2012, It was taken off the frame and completely redone. It had 74000 on it the and only has 75677 now. All of the major body panel are original. The only rust hole on the car was on one of the fender behind a molding. We cut it out and patched it. Been used as a toy for last 10 years. Its a 1983 Monte Carlo CL. 54600 miles, power windows, original 305 V8. Engine has been converted from carb to tuned port injection from an IROC Z 28 using factory parts. 700r4 trans conversion from same IROC, less than 5000 miles since full rebuild. Serpentine belt setup with functional A/C, converted to R134A Headers and dual exhaust with new mufflers. Front brakes are 12 inch, dual piston aluminum calipers from a 2001 trans am. Shaved door handles and trunk lock activated by the remote start / alarm system. Many new or upgraded parts over the years that have not seen many miles such as, 245 60 r16 tires on trans am crosslace wheels, cop car alternator, radiator, dual electric cooling fans, heater core, oil pan, valve covers, msd electric fuel pump. Owners manual is still with the car. Cruise control and power antenna do not work. SALES SPECIFICS... Buyer responsible for any and all shipping arrangements. 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo sold with no engine or trans. Set up for a 4speed, was a bbc. Solid no rust body! No rust floors and trunk, needs paint, was a vinyl roof car, roof has been sanded and primed and vinyl has been removed-I have the roof trim. Interior in great shape with reupholstered seats, new door panels and new carpet. Has SS trim, I have original SS moulding trim(Do not know if it is a original SS). Car was converted to a 4spd(has pedals and linkage and 4 speed hump and console). Has 12 bolt rear end with strange axles and 4:11 gears, car has new brakes(calipers and pads). Headliner is excellent, has 8 inch rallys with good tires. Has large sway bars both front and rear with rear air shocks. Rear has adjustable upper control arms. Have many xtra parts to go with it. Hard to find as solid as this!

That's because he never sells any car that he hasn't already driven, and would not drive.The owner of Frankfort Auto Haus specializes in lightly used, unique vehicles."We specialize in cars you can't get any place else," Lantry says. "We sell lots of sports cars, convertibles and specialty trucks like dualies and four-wheel-drive trucks."The Auto Haus offers many foreign cars, such as Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar and Porsche, as well as the best American cars and trucks. Lantry's phone message says the business carries "classics to modern day muscle cars" and a look at the lot supports the statement. Bright shiny convertibles invite test drives and are parked next to tough trucks just aching to go off road."I personally test drive and buy every car we sell," Lantry says.
