It don't get any better then this. Very Nice original 1986 "TRUE" SS Monte Carlo. These cars are very rare and near impossible to find in this kind of condition. This car has 79K original miles. It is ready for the new owner to drive it home. Everything on the car works and the Air conditioning blows nice and cold. Car starts right up and drives very nice and runs GREAT. The interior on the car is just about perfect. The dash is very nice with NO cracks. No stains or tears anywhere. Carpet is perfect, headliner is perfect. I would call it absolutely a STEAL AT THIS PRICE. I would rate it as 9.0 All the jambs are still original paint. The stripes look like new with no tears or damage. 1979 Monte Carlo sold new at Bill Jacobs Joliet IL, the car has lived it whole life in the area, the mileage is original 25,448. The car was purchased new by a local Joliet women, the car was not used much and always serviced at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet. After her passing the car was sold to the mechanic that worked on it at the dealership, and I purchased the car from him about 3 years ago. The car runs and drives great, the air conditioning is converted to 134a and blows cold, the car still has the original am radio with only a front speaker. It drips some fluids, nothing bad, I just keep a piece of cardboard under it. I installed new air shocks on the rear. This is a drive any where car. The engine is the 267 v8 with a two barrel carb. The catalytic converter has been removed, newer muffler installed. The car has some dings it is not perfect, but it is a very solid unmolested Monte Carlo. The dash has one crack in it, I took a picture of it. The color is paint code 79 dark carmine. The wheels are 15 x 7 rally wheels with P225/60R15 Goodyear tiresThe front bumper chrome strip is the replacement one sold on eBay, I have take pictures of that also, it could use a new one. Please ask question, I am sure I am forgetting something. The car is available for inspection in the Joliet area, less than 2 miles from the original dealership. I have added an picture of the car when I had polished Torque Thrust on it with BFG, winner get their choice of Torque thrust or rally wheels

i originally built the car as a street/strip type car, runs and drives great, the body is in good shape other than the bottom of the doors need work, the interior is clean with no rips or tears, the drive line was replaced with a built 350 small block chevy and a heavy duty turbo 350 trans that have about 10'000 miles on themthe 350 small block has been bored .030 over with flat top pistons, Edelbrock performer camshaft and intake, World products sportsman 2 heads, 600 cfm performer carb, headers,the trans was rebuilt with heavy duty parts and a TCI super street fighter 3500 stall converter, B&M shifter,the rear end is a 10 bolt with Moser axles, Auburn posi with 4.10 gears, BF Goodrich radial TA tires on Centerline convo pro aluminium wheels,dual exhaust with flowmaster super 44 mufflersthe car was a work in progress, i had many upgrades/improvements intended but due to health issues i can no longer drive and enjoy itif you have questions please feel free to email me, thanks
