1970 Camaro Z/28. Up for sale is my complete numbers matching, documented, 24,000 original mile 1970 z/28. I have documented owners history with miles each owner drove, protect o plate, and certification from Jerry McNeish. This is a survivor car that has been freshened up with new stock Gardner exhaust, (expensive!) engine rebuild with just cylinder honing and not bored over. New seals in heads and all new engine gaskets and carburetor rebuild. Three angle valve job, and full balance. Needless to say, this 360HP LT1 Chevrolet small block 350 runs very strong. 4.11 gears in the 12 Bolt Rear end, and the 1970 Z28 was the only small block Chevrolet Camaro to get a 12 bolt rear end. Original interior with no extra speakers etc. I have the original smog pump, and the original tail pipes, along with the original wood grain dash face and original spare good year bias ply tire and jack accessories. The under chassis has just been freshened up which retained its original orange oxide and the shocks were replaced. Original floor pans. It is a 4 speed car with a 410 rear end. I also added a brand new set of Goodyear Polyglass Tires, and this car is ready to drive, or show. This car needs very little to be perfect. The car is amazing as it has always been stored under cover, and spent years in a climate controlled facility. It retains its original color citrus green with black interior. This car is not perfect, and none are! I know the radio, which plays perfectly, is drawing to much current and will drain the battery over time. I need to replace one interior vent knob that is missing (it is on order). I am going to replace the driver's side door bushings (I have new pins and bushings). I noticed the driver's side door glass has an irregular top line, but only by about 1/8" or so. It is so slight, that the car does not leak, and is not noticeable until the glass is rolled down. That is about it!! My preference for Muscle cars are those that could go around corners, and not just in a straight line. This one is it! 1970 was the Apex of Muscle Car Glory, and this is, in my opinion, the best Small Block Engine Chevrolet ever built. It could embarrass lots of Big Blocks, and out handle all of them. I have a Boss 302 also, which I will be selling, and I think this car is the best of the Trans Am series cars. For 1970, Chevrolet borrowed heavily from Ferrari on the new F body Camaro's lines. Up for sale is a super clean low mileage Silver on Black 6-spd Z-28. Last year of the F-body!!! This particular Z came as a hardtop which is hard to find. This is also a no option car meaning no power door locks, no power seats, no power windows, no fog lights, no traction control and no steering wheel controls. I acquired the car from its 3rd owner in pretty much stock form besides a few bolt ons but we pulled it in the shop and gave it a complete make over. Only visible blemish is on the rear bumper which you can see in the pictures. The car has 25,789 miles but will be driven once or twice a week. I am a performance and service shop not a dealer!!! I've owned this car for about a month now and just did the title swap into my name a few days ago. This car is ready to go and drives great. I'll include a copy of the Carfax I did on the car and window sticker as well. I've only found 2 very small scratches in the car. 1 in on the hood and it's so small it wouldn't even photograph. The other is on the wing and there is a close up picture posted. It's extremely small. The front drivers side speaker needs to be replaced. It sounds blown and if I have the car long enough I may get around to replacing it. The only other thing is there is a small hole on the console by the shifter. It was there for an SLP fan switch that I removed. It has a mail order tune that could be touched up but over all the car drives great. The tires I think might be original but have a good amount of tread left. I just had the car inspected in TX and it passed without any problems. If you have any questions at all let me know and I'll try to answer them the best that I can. I do drive the car to work from time to time so the miles may go up a little but not much. I'll help with shipping the car but shipping costs will be at the buyers expense.
