For Sale, Barn find Code 72-72 Hugger Orange 1969 Camaro with all aluminum ZL1 427 engine in the trunk. Informally known as the Mexican ZL1 spent its life in the Southwest desert and frequently made trips to mexico until 1974 when it was parked and left to retire with its bullet hole in the roof who knows the full story of this 69? This is what I do know, The car has the kinda patina that people dream about and appears to be original paint .. It would be cool to build the car and leave the body and paint as-is with an old day 2 super car vintage vibe.. it has a clean Arizona title, It has new American racing wheels and Good Year vintage bias tires as the old ones were long gone, it appears to be originally a 327 automatic car, engine is long gone, transmission still hanging, And the best part of all is what was hiding in the trunk... 1970 ZL-1 aluminum 427 engine, including main caps, with fuel pump boss and 074 heads and snowflake intake manifold.. It appears to have been rat holed away for a project that never got started. The car is rust free except for small spots behind rear wheels. More importantly the trunk, pans, and chassis, are Arizona dry desert clean clean. Due to dry desert heat the interior is rough.. What a great car and amazing find, Imagine the possibilities! Sold as a full package will not separate engine. Buy it now to own this super cool "Mexican ZL-1 project clone" Sold-AS IS where is, paypal deposit $1,000 within 24 hours, full payment wire transfer or cash due within 5 days of auction close. Transportation available no problem!

1969 Chevrolet Camaro 302 Z/28 X33 with Cross ram Setup and Protect-O-Plate Additional Pictures: http://stansrestorations.com/?page_id=375 Documented with date correct engine, original trans and rear end. Built in Norwood as designated by X33 cowl tag. Car also has it's protect-o-plate, warranty card, and owners manual in the original factory sleeve. The summary listed below shows all the components, date codes, and details about the specifics of the car. This 1969 Camaro Z/28 would be ideal for the collector or enthusiast who likes a very nice cars to drive and enjoy. This Camaro runs and drives extremely well. The sound is awesome. Solid lifters and all. The cross ram has been professional tuned by www.stansrestorations.com (which requires the headers) to perform correctly. Super detailed DZ engine 1969 Z/28 Camaros are rather hard to find. Especially like this one having limited use of reproduction items, this is a true survivor. (See photos) You can view cars at auction and read how all the cars are original engine cars. We know this is the original transmission and rear-end to car. We also photographed the engine and transmission codes. NOTE: The next time someone offers you a car and declares it to be an original Z/28, Ask them to sign a statement they 100% guarantee it or your money back. I will. Very desirable Lemans Blue with white stripes. An excellent color combination for any muscle car. This particular Camaro has a mostly original interior with exception of the dash pad, carpet and restored factory rosewood wheel . The factory tachometer, clock and console with gauges all work properly, and the original pedals and wiring harness speak of how low mileage of a car this truly is. The factory AM radio does not work, but the original AM antenna mass is also on the car and hard to find. To the best of our knowledge the ZL-2 Cowl Induction System was added to this car at some time early in its life. The hood is an original GM Cowl Induction that has been modified to be a Steel Cross ram hood (inside opening is different). Cross ram steel hoods sell for $7500. The cross ram is an exact reproduction from Heartbeat Camaros, and built at the same foundry as the original. The carbs are service replacement and brand new. This entire setup on the vehicle adds approximately $17-25k on the top of standard Z/28. I would score this car a 8 on a scale of 1-10. 10 cars are nut and bolt restorations and this car didn't need a nut and bolt restoration as it is a super nice survivor with and clean car to begin with. This is why I mentioned that it would be a wonderful car for a guy who wants to have an original Z/28 and still enjoy taking it on the road for spin now and then. The car drives nicely as it should with a complete drivetrain restoration completed less than 50 miles ago. This including removal of the sub frame, front cap and rear end, cleaning (car did not need blasting, should tell you how clean and rust free underneath is), and then reassembled with original parts that we cleaned and replated proper colors and correct bolts, with minimal use of restoration parts(ie wiring, hoses and clamps). I am open trade offers for only a 1969 Pace Car + Cash. Should be in similar condition. Trade value $45-55k.
