This car is truly an amazing example of a collector grade time capsule which still sits on its original factory tires. It’s genuinely in virtually as new unaltered condition and as such shows virtually no wear at all. When you sit down behind the wheel it truly as if you’ve gone back in time and test drove a brand new 1998 Z28. There is not any paint work, no dings, no rust, no drama or crazy stories. The wheels are in perfect condition, the top is as new perfect condition. The rear seats are perfect as are the original floor mats. This car comes with both factory original sets of keys complete with the valet key and original keyless entry fobs. The keys will have the original factory knock outs installed with key codes as well as the original paper dealer identification tag from 1998 on the key rings. This car also includes the original factory window sticker, factory build sheet and 1998 Camaro sales brochure and original factory parade boot (never used). Always adult owned documented 2 owner car that has always been kept in climate controlled storage. The previous owner told me it had never been in the rain or on a wet road and the same has been true of me as well. The undercarriage of this car supports that story as well. The A/C blows ICE cold and everything on the car functions as it should. It shifts factory tight and the clutch feels as new. I’m not kidding when I say this car drives like a “new” 1998 Z28 it’s truly spectacular. The driver seat does show some minimal creasing on the side bolster which is normal for the mileage and age but you have to look to find it. This is a 1978 Camaro project car. I have done a huge amount of work to the car already. The body is near perfect and ready for paint. It's been primed and sealed with high quality Sherwin Williams paint and the underside has been stripped, prepped, and sealed with gloss black POR-15. I have a HUGE amount of parts that go with the car, as well as a machined and ready to build 350 block with performance heads straight from the machine shop, as well as a crank, piston rods and a whole bunch of other stuff. There's a whole bunch of awesome parts including new nose cone, perfect Z-28 fenders, flares, a great set of the 5 spoke Z-28 wheels powder coated black, a 3.42 posi unit, steel cowl hood. The subframe and all suspension in the front and rear are new, all brand new bushings, etc. There is really no way for me to list everything I have done to the car or everything that is there. If you have a question about anything in particular, just send me a message and I can call you or get you whatever information you might need. I have all the wiring for the car (including A/C, Power Windows, Locks, etc.) restored and bagged and ready for installation. The car is in an indoor storage and is taken apart just the way you see it in the pictures, so you will have to plan for that when you pick it up or have it shipped. I can help with the loading or could deliver for a fee. This car has already had all the messy, hard work of restoration done. It just needs someone to finish it out. I just no longer have the time. I am sure it is worth much more than I am asking, I just need it gone.
