This 1976 Chevrolet Camaro LT is an enthusiast's dream, an excellent runner and has the rare 4 speed manual transmission. Mechanically in good condition. Estimated at 172,828 miles on the clock and has been in the same family since new. Some work that has been done: Replaced Injections module in distributor. Brakes at 40% Replaced Valve Cover Gaskets, Distributor Vacuum Advance, Upper Control Arm Bushings, Shocks, Oil change, spark plugs and fuel filter. Replaced weather striping for doors and trunk New Pioneer DEH-X4600BT CD Radio and Bluetooth Rebuilt 4 speed transmission and clutch in 2011 Had a large service in December 2014. Tires are in good condition. The front two were brand new in January 2015. The exterior paint work needs a complete overhaul and there are a few missing bits of trim from the rear window and rear brake lights. The interior is in good condition with new seat coverings. The dash has been cracked through sun damage. There is no Air Conditioning in this model. Passed SMOG July 2014. Registered until April 2016. Car is located in Southern California.

I bought this car in 2007 out west and finally got it road ready last year. This is a great looking car that runs, drives smooth, and sounds amazing. The car has been sitting for a little while and needs a new home, and I am looking to finish another project that I have sitting in my garage. Minor defects that need a little attention: the transmission needs a new main seal at some point because it is producing a small leak--nothing a drip pan can't solve; the air conditioning hasn’t been set up yet but the original components are in the car; the exhaust manifold seals need to be redone at some point—all routine maintenance. Other than that the car is in great shape. I am moving and do not have a garage to put it in like it was in. I have pictures of this beautiful camaro before and after I had it painted, new tires, new rims and ground effects. Also purchased spoiler and hood scope to be installed and painted along with the whole body. I wanted to finish the interior with my Husband but since we are moving to another state, I want to find someone that will love and take care of it like I did. Up for bid is my 1980 Camaro. Let me begin by saying you will notice magnets in the photographs which I have placed in the typical areas you will find these cars full of Bondo. I am not an expert on the computer so I am not able to figure out how folks upload 100’s of pictures directly into the body of an Ebay ad, so I added the ones I think should matter to a buyer. Anyhow you will note that the magnets are telling you part of what you need to know about this car: It is not full of Bondo. The engine is not original to the car. It is a mild build to 350 HP, Edelbrock intake, carb, hooker headers with less than a 1,000 miles on it. Ratchet shifter, 350 Turbo Trans, 10 bolt rear, don’t know the gears but it is nothing crazy. The odometer reads 24,177 which I have to believe is 124,777. The paint color is the desirable Red Orange and it does not appear to have ever been repainted. I have found evidence of touch up, and the car could obviously use a massage and paint but the color is correct. I took the seats out and pulled the carpet up to check and the floor boards are not rotted. I have been under the car and found no evidence of cancer. This car could be driven the way it is as a fun driver, but I am listing it as a restoration candidate as it doesn’t come with a warranty expressed written or implied. It will come with all of the parts you see photographed in the trunk. These are all of the spare Camaro parts I have left. This would make an excellent father/son project over the winter if you want to turn it into a driver. The body work would be minimal to get it ready for a nice fresh paint job. The hood is fiberglass. Original AC car, none of the AC parts are present. I drove it around my property last week and it shifts and runs fine. The tires are like new. I have a hook up on a very reasonable shipping if you need a reference. This car will not leave my property until full payment clears my bank or you hand me cash.
