Selling a well kept 2003 jetta diesel sedan 5 speed with an alh engine. This car gets over 50 MPG. Only modification the car has ever had is a .658 5th gear upgrade. The 5th gear lowers the rpm by 400 from original 5th gear. It still pulls just fine up hills with all the torque this engine has. The car has a salvaged title because of minor crash that caused the front and back bumper and hood to be replaced. Parts were replaced with like color car so all paint is original. The car was never repainted. The only thing is the headliner sags because it was washed improperly. At 80k miles I had the timing belt changed with waterpump, serpentine belt, thermostat, engine oil with filter, transmission oil, and fuel filter along with pollen filter replaced. The car currently has 83xxx miles. I still drive it so miles will change slightly. I have included pictures of damaged car and what caused it to carry a salvaged title. Some of the features on this great vehicle are: 6 Speed Manual Transmission Heated Leather Seats, Sun Roof, Power Windows, Mirrors, Seats, Locks.18" Premium Wheels with brand new Yokohama Tires.Very economical car, 45+mpgIn Dash 6cd mp3 Stereo with Navigation system, and Special OEM for VW Fender Sound System. Also car has the AUX jack.Engine Start/Stop Button. Tight suspension, powerful engine, timing belt service recently done, oil and filter just replaced, AFE air filter cleaned up, as well as all fluids. Car's good to go... Also has current plate/tags and the Title's in my possession, under my name. A little bit more about this great vehicle:It was purchased from an insurance company due to a low speed right rear end collision; damage was so light that not even one airbag was deployed, so NO deployed airbags on this car and they all do work properly. Car had the tail light replaced, then car was matched painted flawlessly and restored to OEM specifications. Now it's road ready again, and has been my daily driver ever since i got it fixed, and have experienced no problems of any kind whatsoever. So like i was saying, car drives straight as an arrow, it doesn't shake vibe, or do any "funny" noises, engine feels strong, very economical as well 45+ mpg, transmission shifts smoothly as it should, no electrical problems, every single electronic component on this cars works perfectly, no cluster code lights on, and they all do work. So in other words this car has great aesthetic looks, as well as suspension, engine, transmission and of course a very clean interior. Car went through all the California State inspections prior to be given a new title, and this is how it works: First you get a "pink/red" salvage title from DMV/Insurance Company, then when you get the car completely fixed, you have to apply for the state inspections: smog, brake, lights, DMV and CHP (California Highway Patrol), once you went through all this inspections and they check to be OK and State approves the car for being a safe vehicle to be back on the road, then you can now apply for a new title, which in other States is a "reconstructed" or "rebuilt" title, but here in the State of California, you get a "blue" Regular title with the "salvage" legend on the history tab. That being said you can have the peace of mind that you’re buying a good reliable vehicle, and the best part, once the inspections are done (like in this case), you won't have to go through the whole process again. Car has current plate/tags and the title is under my name, and ready to be registered under yours.
