Offering my 1990 Rolls Royce Silver Spur II. with only 21,000 miles. I am the 2nd Owner!! The original owner bought this Rolls Royce new in 1990, loved and cared for it for the next 24 years until the car was sold to me. I am a lifetime Automobile collector and very critical about condition and have owned many Rolls, and will have to say that unless setting in a museum, I could not imagine a finer example of a 1990 Silver Spur anywhere. I know these are tall words, but this Rolls will back it up!! Professional inspection is very welcome!! The in-photo shopped photos will say it all The car was purchased new in Southern California where the car stayed until the owners relocated to Amelia Island, Famous for the Amelia Island Rolls Royce Concours de Elegance, one of their most prestigious events. Tastefully finished in Carnation exterior with White Full leather interior with red leather piping and carpets. The seats show no cracking and are soft and supple. The dual climate control works perfectly Hot, or Ice Cold. Power reclining rear seats Power heated front seats with memory. Tires are new, about 1300 miles Original Rolls Royce tool kit, gloves and accessories. Complete set of books including service and maintenance manuals with proper stamps from the Rolls Royce Dealers The original MSRP was $187,780.00 plus options which include Full Connelly Leather interior roof and Full Burl Wood door panels at an additional, $12,000.00 The condition of this Rolls is about 97 point and needs nothing. All body panels are straight as an arrow and the original paint is gleaming with virtually no flaws.The suspension is tight and offers a superb ride.The underside is dry and there are no leaks at all. There are a few minor scratches and stone chips throughout the car. Nothing major. The seats could use a good conditioning to renew the surface but the leather is solid and in good condition. The rear windows are a little slow to roll up but all the windows do operate. The power door locks don't seem to be working but the locks do operate manually. The front chin spoiler seems to have bumped a curb and one of the screws has come loose. The car seems to be in good condition fo an unrestored 33 year old. It starts easily and drives good. It is very smooth on the highway. It has a very solid feel. The air conditioning is cold. The paint is smooth and glossy except for those chips and scratches I mentioned earlier. All the body lines are smooth and straight. This car was originally imported from Europe and has been owned for many years by a local physician. Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer possibly one of the nicest 1986 Rolls Royce Silver Spurs available. I am handling the sale of this Rolls Royce, and also a 1959 Bentley R Type for a close lady friend whose husband passed away back in mid 2014. Jim was an English car guy, and loved Jaguars and Rolls Royce's. These folks were long time members of both clubs, and participated with the cars for many years. Jim was also a JCNA Concours Judge!! We were good friends for many years! I will do the best I can do describe them accurately, but my information is limited as to what I have personally learned and observed. I have no long term history or documents. If she finds anything, I will pass it along! I sold them this car back around 2008 or so. It was driven sparingly over the years, due to Jim's illness, and along with the fact that he had several other collector cars that he drove. This one had a major service done in 2009, when ALL of the soft parts(belts, hoses, and seals etc.), along with tune up parts and injectors etc. I am not sure of the mileage that has accrued since then, but it certainly couldn't be many! I retrieved it from the house garage in late September. Our expert mechanic did an oil and filter change, along with a safety inspection, and an A/C service. The tyres were replaced about 3 or 4 years ago, and are still very close to new. It was professionally detailed, and is just Gorgeous!! This is a very nice running and Driving Rolls Royce that is ready for the next lucky owner to enjoy! The photos below will tell the cosmetic story quite well. There is no weather or rust damage, and the everflex top appears to be bump free. the leather is gorgeous as is the wood which has some light cracking present on a few panels, but not all. Notice the rear entertainment system that was installed at the factory when new. Jim had it updated to a modern DVD player!! The Long Wheelbase models were extremely opulent and were built in very limited numbers. This particular model is California Compliant and features mechanical fuel injection. This car can best be described as in nice original condition. The finish looks very nice with no dings or dents and still has plenty of gloss. The Everflex top shows no age and looks great. All of the stainless looks great and the rubber bumpers are in fine shape with no cracking or dry rot. Tires are near new. The interior is also in nice original condition. The leather is nice and soft with no tears or stains of any sort. There is some wear as you can see, but very nice for the most part. This is especially true when compared it to most others out there. All of the wood veneers look very nice and are free from cracking or fading. All electrical components work as they should and the AC blows cold. Turn the key and it fires right up followed by a smooth idle. Put it in gear and it does exactly what it did when it was new. It has all the confidence of a well sorted classic. There’s absolutely no evidence of this car needing anything mechanically. There are no odd noises, bumps or hesitations to be found. The Silver Spur is 4" longer than the standard Silver Spirit saloon, and were considerably more expensive than its brother when new, providing considerable extra rear leg room for rear seat passengers. The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed V8 engine. Under the bonnet, the presentation is amazing. It has not been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. The car sports a nice set of tires on original Rolls-Royce wheels complete with original center caps. The body of the car is straight and the paint lustrous. It does have a few minor little chips and marks but there are few. Otherwise it is very shiny without any fading, dents or dings. Rubbers, moldings, badges and external fittings are all in excellent condition. The interior on this car is quite lovely. The Connolly leather shows exquisitely and is entirely original. It presents beautifully without any signs of significant wear. The wood on the dash and doors are close to perfect. Carpets, seats, dash, headlining and fixtures are truly excellent and we would encourage you to look at all the photos to fully appreciate how nicely the interior presents. This car was recently traded into our dealership and would be a great entry into the world of Rolls Royce ownership. She runs and drives great, has ice cold AC, newer tires. The Silver Spur is 4" longer than the standard Silver Spirit saloon, and were considerably more expensive than its brother when new, providing considerable extra rear leg room for rear seat passengers. The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed V8 engine with the Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system which provides ultra smooth idle and touring. Under the bonnet, the presentation is amazing. It has not been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. The car sports a nice set of tires on original Rolls-Royce wheels complete with original center caps. The body of the car is straight and the paint lustrous. It does have a few minor little chips and marks but there are few. Otherwise it is very shiny without any fading, major dents or dings. Rubbers, moldings, badges and external fittings are all in excellent condition. The interior on this car is quite lovely. The Blue Connolly leather shows exquisitely and is entirely original. It presents beautifully without any signs of significant wear. The wood on the dash and doors are close to perfect. Carpets, seats, dash, headlining and fixtures are truly excellent and we would encourage you to look at all the photos to fully appreciate how nicely the interior presents. Overall a great car! All power windows work, A/C blows cold and the car runs and shifts as she should. There are two issues with the car. (1) The rear shocks has a bounce to them when hitting a bump. The rear shocks where replaced at a cost of $1700 at 32,000 miles. (2) Front power seats and mirrors are not functioning also causing an airbag light. All due to a faulty seat/mirror ecu under the seat. The ecu could be repaired or a replacement one installed. Its a common issue and a eBay member offers a rebuild service. My 1991 Rolls Royce – Silver Spur This is my personal car and I have loved driving it every minute of the two years that I have owned it. My family and I used it only on special occasions as we have several other cars that we drive every day. My wife wanted a new Mercedes and I had to bow to that pressure, so I must sell the Rolls. This is a beautiful meticulously maintaining car that has been serviced regularly. Virtually everything works great and there are no leaks, so don’t worry about its dependability or any oil on your driveway, as I had the engine completely resealed as soon as I got it. I had to have everything on on the car working well even though it's an older car but I try to be a perfectionist. I had new tires put on the car, changed all the fluids, had the brakes checked and serviced, had the power brake pump seals changed, had the power seats and mirrors serviced, suspension rubbers changed, and had a complete service. The previous owner had a new alternator, new battery, had new power steering, new brakes, wheel alignment, and regular service and maintenance for many years prior. As you can see the paint is virtually perfect there are no scratches or dings. I think that black is the only color for a Rolls and the grey interior is unique enough that it is really makes it a very special car particularly because of the uncommon beautiful wood panels on the doors. I guess that’s why everyone wants a black Rolls. Notice … The dual video screens on the back of the front seat headrests Notice … The condition of the interior, which shows the care the car has been givenNotice … The special aluminum wheels, the keys for the locked hubs are pictured in the trunk This is the most iconic car on any road and the respect that you get from other drivers is unmatched. It delivers a combination of safety, luxury, performance, status, and cost of operation that I was surprised was very reasonable, but I just wish I had asked the previous owner about oil leaks. You can see from the pictures I took from the underside of the car that It has virtually no rust, and the history of the car shows no accidents. It’s loaded with a beautifully functioning automatic transmission with a 6.75 liter Rolls-Royce V8 engine with a very efficient fuel injection system which provides ultra-smooth idle and driving and the car has a fantastic air conditioning system that is ice cold all the time, even in the severe Florida heat. The radio is a Pioneer with a CD player and a matching Equalizer. I got the car with the Video Screens in the back of the headrests, but I never bothered having them connected as I had no use for them. I’ve been told without confirmation that all you need is a DVD player installed so that the rear passengers can see videos..
