The woman was still negotiating with the salesman when we arrived. My daughter actually brought her "Piggy Bank" and paid for the car with her Piggy Bank money earned from tutoring and summer work! -Serviced every season -Touch-up paint included 1996 Grand Am 'Twin Cam' 2.4 L DOHC (Dual Over Head Cam) four-cylinder engine, SFI (Sequential Fuel Injection), 155 lb·ft (210 N·m) of torque, 4-speed automatic standard traction control, daytime running lamps with automatic lighting control. Engines used: 1996–1998: 2.4L DOHC Twin Cam L4 engine: 150 hp (110 kW), 155 lb·ft (210 N·m) of torque Transmissions used: · 1994–1998: 4T60-E 4-speed automatic with overdrive Reasons for selling: 1) Daughter lives in the city and doesn't drive it. 2) Needs work. -It has an oil leak from the engine seal: Midas/STS said to just carry a quart of oil if /when it gets low. -Exhaust system clamps rusted but holding steady -Windows need to be resealed as it leaks in when it snows or rains if I don't cover it. -Speedometer is wonkey, it works then doesn't. -I had the instrument panel computer chip part fabricated in June of 2012 -Rear Passenger side tail light has a quarter-size hole in the plastic cover.
