I am this vehicle's third owner. I have owned it for 11+ years during which I undertook multiple restorations and modifications.         This Oldsmobile has been my pride and joy, turning heads and starting conversations everywhere I take it. I will truly miss it, and will want to be informed of its progress from time to time.         WHY SELLING         My reasons for selling it are: My son is in college now and my daughter will begin in 2016. Accordingly, my wife and I will be downsizing from our large home that has plenty of parking, to a smaller place which will not have enough parking spaces to store any extra vehicles. I no longer have the time to devote to planning its various upgrade projects, such as a 21st century audio system. A photocopy of your bank account statement dated the week of your test drive, will be adequate.          SALES TERMS Vehicle is sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY given or implied. $1000 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end or sale. Full payment due 7 days after auction end or sale. For payment using cash, the transaction must be done at the teller window of my bank branch. If the bills check out, then the vehicle will then be yours. For payment using your bank's cashier's check or a money order, the financial instrument must be inspected and approved by the manager of my bank branch. The vehicle will be yours when the funds appear in my bank account. Sorry, no personal checks, wire transfers, credit cards, precious metals, gemstones, livestock, Bitcoins, PAYPAL, trades, or other forms of payment will be accepted. The title of this vehicle is clear. My automobile insurance policy does not cover buyer. My insurance coverage for this vehicle will be canceled after buyer's payment is received. Buyer may arrange for transport of this vehicle at buyer's expense and risk. Of course full payment has to be completed first. As a favor to buyer, I will maintain the vehicle inside my garage after it is sold, and facilitate delivery to the auto transport operator or hired driver, provided the operator or hired driver comes to within one mile of my residence. Consequently, various perishable items have and will eventually reveal their maturity. Fortunately these are generally easily addressable. For example, a new muffler was just installed since the original one, finally after 47 years, graciously ended its faithful service. So please keep in mind that because automobiles have few unyielding components, a competent mechanic will be your best friend.
