Two (2) 1963 Oldsmobiles F-85 Cutlass Convertibles This listing is for TWO vehicles. "Buy One Get One", "2 for 1". They are both 1963 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass Convertibles that are privately owned. Classic Cars Online is helping the owner with the presentation and listing of these vehicles. You will be purchasing both vehicles directly from him. They both come with free and clear titles. Vehicle #1 was from Colorado and is still pretty solid. As you can see from the photos, someone started to restore the vehicle and removed a lot of the items. The engine and transmission are gone also. There are a lol of trim pieces and other miscellaneous items located in both trunks. (Don't assume everything is there, I'm sure stuff was lost when it was removed.) The original color of this vehicle was called "Sahara Mist" (Paint Code: T). The convertible top is black. The second vehicle (Car #2) is complete, but the body is in rough shape. This vehicle can be used as a "parts car" to rebuild/restore vehicle #1. The original color of this car is called "Holiday Red" (Paint code: "V"). The convertible top is white. This car has the engine and transmission still installed. They came with a 215 cu. in. aluminum V8 engines Oldsmobile called "Rockette". The Cutlass models received a higher output version which was rated at 185hp. The odometer is showing 47,529 miles. (Not sure if these are the original miles, but I would think they are.) There is what looks to be a Holley carburator on the engine, the owner has a correct carburator along with an intake manifold that will go along with the car. I bought this car as a driver a couple of years ago. Took down to bare frame and had car redone. All new floors and trunk. New top. Very few pieces on car that aren't new or rebuilt. All metal in body. Not filled with Bondo. Motor and transmission were completely rebuilt. Interior completely redone. New tires. Disc brakes on front (car didn't stop too well with drum). Has a new Holly 650 carb. Took stock air cleaner and modified to work. So looks all stock. Motor and trans were original in car. Runs and drives very nicely. Looks very shiney and straight. I put over $40,000 in to it. Around the vent windows, the trim could use replacing, and rocker panels need to be installed. I have them. On right front fender a tiny imperfection from a bolt that pushed through inner fender a little too far. Have to look for to see. I couldnt decide what radio to put in it, so no radio. Available is a 1964 Oldsmobile F85 Cutlass convertible in terrific shape. The original engine has been replaced with a 455 c.i.d. Oldsmobile big block which produces around 500hp and runs strong. Previous owner had it built with Nitrous which hasn’t seen much use, but sure gets the WOW factor at car shows when people spot it. Transmission is auto; Turbomatic 350, and the car has had a few upgrades such as disc brake conversion in front, 12 bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears, headers and exhaust, B&M shifter, and custom stereo system. The Cutlass had a fairly thorough restoration in 2009 with new paint/interior, new windshield glass, and has been running perfect since; the top was replaced 3 years ago and is in great condition, and there are no areas of corrosion. The Cutlass is originally a California car and still has its black plates; I purchased in 2005 from a Palm Springs owner so it’s been in a very dry climate, and has always been garaged since I've owned it. Original equipment includes power steering, power brakes, power top (non-operational), original Air Conditioning car (non-operational), and the desirable F85 options to complete the package for a truly fun to drive classic car.
